nurey:

petrol engines can be converted to use both petrol and gas (CNG OR LNG) at the same time so the vehicle can either use petrol and then switch to gas when the petrol has finished.

I think same principle can be done for diesel too because dangote trucks are diesel engine stock and they were converted to use gas I am not too sure whether diesel engines can use both since diesel isn't combustion ignition rather is uses compression.
Thanks a lot for the explicit explanation. I really appreciate.

from my point of view I think the belt that rolls both the condenser and the engine is faulty and needs to the checked

How would a faulty belt cause the issue complained?

Gurus in the house.
I drive a Nissan Primera 2001 model. After driving it for 50/60k or when the engine becomes hot the car begins to jerk intermittently.
I recently changed the fuel pump and fuel filter but the issue persists. This is giving me a serious issue as I need to travel with the car.
My kazzem doesn't seem to understand the issue. I need your expertise please

Good day my bosses in the lodge,

My EOD is showing this "maintenance required" light on the dashboard.

Just changed engine oil and power steering oil last week.

What could be the cause pls? And possible remedies.

Tuaale bosses

Same here, though no problem apart from my steering pump/hose which is slightly leaking,...... Could that be a possible reason for that?

Your power steering pressure sensor might be getting the wrong signal due to the leak or low pressure in the system and could trigger a fault code.

Speaking as an armature.

Running a scan would be your best bet.

Yes I understand. Some cars run on 'gas'. Some diesel. I just want to know if they can be interchangeable. Thanks.

Gas, gasoline, petrol, PMS are all the same thing...

Okay, so why then do they specify the actual fuel type if they are all the same?
I'm only but a novice trying to learn before hand, if you know what I mean. wink

I bought a Nigerian used Toyota corolla 2001. I have not been taking it out because the papers are not completed yet.
But when I drove out to church yesterday as I was coming back the vehicle refused to reverse with the AC on.
But it reversed after I switch off the ac
Please sir, what could be the course of it
Thanks in anticipation for your responses

Run a scan.

It could be a misfire caused by the ignition system or injectors.

Or your idle Air control system malfunctioning.

Run a scan.

But why do some car dealers showcase tokunbo cars with say, 5km mileage? Does it even make sense to them? Cars that are even more than 10 years old and have been pre-owned.

Abi o lol
I always makes fun of people when they buy cars of 10yrs old with 50,000km below.
Instead of them to look for the vehicle maintenance history they will be checking car mileage Upandan
Dealers will buy car of over 300,000km mileage and role it back to 5km lol

It's American English...

They sell cars with diesel engine, hybrid engine and full electric engine too, so they specify

American English - Gasoline aka Gas
Nigerian English - Petrol, PMS, Fuel

Diesel & petrol/Gas are not interchangeable, well except you change the engine & so many other things

That nissan deal with me very well, but I really like its performance. To your problem, confirm if your engine is QG18DE. I might give you suggestion of what to check because my own problem on the primera was the same.
