- The business must actually be involved in the production of an item or rendering or services (Online businesses such as forex trading, bitcoin trading, multilevel marking etc are not acceptable)

Why can't you purchase treasury bills? It's difficult to find a trustworthy and reliable biz partner these days.

What I have doesn’t satisfy your all your requirements though but you I’m absolutely sure about the ROI. The business is an eye clinic in a Suburban location, currently untouched by any. If this interests you, I could elaborate more.

You don't necessarily have to meet all the conditions 100%.

Just prove to me that the business is real and you understand it and also have the skills, experience and knowledge to run it successfully in order to grow it and make money

Ok. I have a degree in optometry and I have worked with about seven eye clinics in Lagos and have run two of these clinics from scratch. Making money from an eye clinic depends on two things majorly. The people (age and population)and the location (proximity and convinience in relation to the people). The location I have in mind currently satisfies this. With a current population of about 500,000, most of which are advanced age-wise.. this is important because the older we get the more our vision detiorates. and there is no current eye clinic in the location for at least 11km, it’s the perfect location for a clinic, it’ll save the people time and money and above all it’ll be convinient for the residents.
I have worked for one of the best clinics in Lagos, and was the lead optometrist in charge of treating patients, the skill cannot be questioned. I have worked with more than 5 different ophthalmologist and I have contacts with few of them for Surgical purposes.
In any business, people equals money. Various marketing strategies exists to draw in a lot of people from regular weekly screenings to one on one marketing.
I understand the business very well.. it’s the one business I excel at and have been doing for the longest of time.
Is the business real? Well I have been working as an optometrist for a pretty long time so I know what works and how it work in that light the possibilities of making a good amount of money from it is very real. If you mean if the business is grounded, has a location and is already established, well the answer would be no. I wouldn’t be here typing this long message if it was. The good thing about eye clinics is when it starts its self sufficient under a year and grows steadily as time moves. The only danger to an eye clinic is another eye clinic in close proximity. Saturation reduces the amount of organic clients and that’s bad for business.

How much is the capital you are looking for? What's the turn over rate and what collateral do you have?

Capital= N828,000.00..
I thought it was an investment? I don’t have any landed securities but I can sign an agreement and provide you with guarantors and my family’s permanent residence.
After 12months, I estimate twice the investment amount. Which of course will be done on a profit sharing module we’ll probably agree on.
Re: N1 Million Investment Fund:- Seeking Investment Opportunities (Now N5Million) by Guruindahouse(m): 4:04pm On May 27, 2019
Of course, I am talking about investment. Unfortunately, signed agreement with guarantors doesnt mean that I will get my investment back. Its difficult to get an investor without collateral in Naija of today.

You say you have run two eye clinics from scratch...Why did you leave?

What are you doing currently?

Which state is the location you have in mind for the clinic (You don't have to disclose the name of the town)reside in t

Do you currently reside in this town?

Do you have the competence and skill to perform minor surgeries assuming the senior ophthalmologists are not available?

You said the initial capital you need is N828,000. How much are you ready to contribute as your share of equity to start up the business?

Yeah I guess Nigeria of today is that bad.. Nobody’s word counts for much these days.. But that’s what I have to offer, if I did have a collateral, I would have probably gotten a loan or something.. What I have offered in terms of guarantors and my family’s permanent residence is enough for you to understand that I mean business.. You’ll be aware of the Business’ Activities, location, down to the daily financials.. In a way you’ll be a partner; which is primarily what being an investor means; Being a partner.

I believe you learn more about everything; relationships, skills, attitudes, and knowledge when you work in different places. Yes I reside in the state which I have in mind for the eye clinic (permanently to be precise)
There’s a limitation to what optometrist can do, in terms of pathology.. there’s no way any optometrist can perform any surgery (legally) and If the ophthalmologist isn’t around, there’s always another. It’s a circle thing.
Just so we are clear.
Ophthalmologist: They are the surgeons. They perform every and any surgery pertaining to the eye. And deal with all kinds of pathology
Optometrist: Refract, Treats certain eye diseases and occasionally perform foreign body removal; I’d hardly call that a surgery.

These two are two very different bodies with two very different duties.
I already put Currently about N330k in the procurement of the some of the major equipments that I’ll be needing. Alas the practice needs more that just basics.

Can you confirm the state you are looking at? What exactly do you intend to spend the funds on? Is the amount you propose going to be sufficient for rent, equipment, etc?

It’s a suburban location. The truth is that there’s a lot more that can be done with more funding but it’s pretty much the basics as it’s a surbuban location, luxury and state of the art isn’t of primary concern at the moment.. The clinic will grow to that stage. The funding will be spent on rent, furniture, inventory and marketing. generally..for now the amount will suffice..
