He is not,
The countries he mentioned are paying for power supply because they are seeing and using it. Unlike Nigeria a community that has not use power for over a month will still be charged and when you refused to pay this nepa guys will cut your wire, and you expect the people to be happy.
I repeat, he is not wise
He is very right bro. It is high time we told ourselves the truth. You cannot use power because yesterday, there was a report that 50% of energy generated in Nigeria are stolen. When the energy is stolen, how does it get to you? Do you know how huge that is? Or you expect the distribution companies that are supposedly running at a loss to finance metering even when Fashola said it would cost about 220 billion naira? If it were that easy, the government would have cleared the metering mess prior to privatization. We all (government, power companies and the masses) have a role to play here, the bulk of which lies with the government.

Most nigerians don't pay their light bills but they will still be ones to condemn and criticize phcn officials when they don't give them electricity. Nothing in life is free people. The Ghana, ivory Coast, Niger republic, that their citizens enjoy stable electricity supply do pay for it. Just look at how this one is fighting an official over what he is supposed to pay.

If you don't want to use PHCN electricity, go get yourself a solar panel and if you can't afford one, buy a generator.
You talk like one of the criminal entity called Phcn, this guys will give you light seven days in a month after you might have paid them yet they remove your wire if you delay payment.

Now is pay before you use.
Can you say we are paying for what we consumed?

Your post reeks of exactly the mindset of the criminal demography that loves stealing energy, then come online to bash the Discos with impotent rage.

You hide behind overbilling to mask your crime of energy theft, I'm sure your outstanding debt is close to a million because you're the type that pays 1k because you believe you've some inalienable right to determine your own energy bill.

You're a goddam thief and you ought to be electrocuted on your supply during a rainy day.

When you see a stupid person that does not know he is stupid, you can't help him. I wrote in my first writeup that my estate had an average of 72 hours in april when AEDC power dropped to 20MW and I got a bill of 21,000 naira. Now I ask you again how can an estimated billed customer steal power? since I am connected to the power supply. Are you this daft or your generation is just unfortunate to have you in their lineage? Your main problem is your inability to calm down to read what I first wrote. And all you could do is call me a thief. Only if your mother had advised your father to use used bread nylon on his manhood, even if 5naira condom was too expensive for them, this world would have been saved from an unfortunate being like you. What I have paid NEPA in bills from estimated apartments to the metered apartments i have, if I give you half of it, boy your generation won't know poverty anymore. ALL YOU NEEDED TO DO WAS TO READ. But how would I blame you. I only blame the other sperm cells that allowed you to run faster than them to fertilize that innocent egg. What a funny world.

Ghana charges 19.28$ per killowatt hour. That's 6928 naira.

Nigeria charges 8.10 cents IE 0.08 $ per killowatt hour. That's 29 naira.

Ghana is just as poor as we are.

Any questions?
hey Ghana's electricity bill charge rate was 19.28 cents per kilowatts in 2017 and was further reduced by 30 % in 2018 so is now about 13 cents per kilowatts, and Ghana enjoys 24/7 electricity.Get your facts right

You sound like an energy thief yourself

And you sound like one of those stealing money from Nigerians in the name of estimated billing.

Imagine someone asking for his right and you are calling the person a thief!

The people you're stealing from have as much right as you. If you don't like their product, then don't take it. Or did anyone tell you that supplying you with electricity is your right?

It's a commercial product same as telecoms, same as the bar of soap you use to wash away your filth. If you don't like how they operate then find alternative commodities.

You seriously think I'm going to torture myself reading through that verbiage of a pointless rant?

When donkeys bray, i tend to regard them in amusement for exactly 5 minutes. Anything after that is nuisance.

The black man is cursed aswear.

They should use police to pick the idiot up.
Lock him up and throw the key into the lagoon.
These are the idiots that contribute to epileptic power in Nigeria.
If you cannot afford to pay for what u consumed, don't use electricity.
