Deed of property, C of O, Marriage cert, Children's Birth cert (If any), Employment documentation(If employed), CAC documentation for self employed ( if the trade is register) and so on.

Greatg0809:

Thought house and land docs can take care of that

Can one apply for Uk visa with a 3months dorm acct, just like moni put aside for the trip
No. You will need to show an active account showing you earn regular income, without unexplained deposits especially when said deposits are above your stated monthly income, and have enough money to cover the trip.

Hello everyone,

Is it necessary to include a flight reservation when applying for UK visit visa?
It is not necessary. It does not increase your chances.

Good job Op and to all the wonderful contributors here.

I know this isn't the right place to ask about passport applications but I feel I can get help here.

I have a UK passport interview coming up tomorrow and need tips on what to expect...weeks ago, I was asked to submit more documents in addition to the ones couriered to UK with my application.

Interview is taking place via video because I am not in the UK. Kindly, note that my son born in London last year has already been issued his British passport (my wife only used my UK birth cert.).

Please, also note that I have applied before, in 1998, and it wasn't successful (was a teenager then).

Your prompt assistance would be greatly appreciated sir.

Hello Oga @Justwise and others,

I'm about to reapply for UK visit visa, i would like to know if it's okay to spend a little above 2 months salary? My salary is 200k after tax.

Please advise
Make sure you are able to tackle the reason for your first refusal. That way your application will fly. Does your company now have online presence as it is a global one? Otherwise, get good travel history. Wish you well.

Hello everyone! Thanks for all the information shared in this thread. I have been learning from this thread and this is my first time of posting. I intend to visit the UK on visitor's visa in two months time. I need advice on the best process to follow. My English friend and I runs an online creative agency in the UK. He has the business registration and had wanted to add me as a Director. Does adding me as a director to the company give me better chances to apply for a UK visiting visa from Nigeria or a red flag? I haven't been to the UK before but I've been to India, Kenya and Rwanda. I will appreciate your advice and suggestions.

Peace and blessings!

Hello, please could someone help me with the below querry.

The last time I did a visa application for someone was in January, and I'm filling an online form for my cousin now (standard 6 months) and it looks like there have been some changes on the form and in the process.

In previous applications, I had to choose TSL centre, date and time of Biometric before payment, but i can'[t see that option again. Please has the process changed?

Also, do you now have to upload your documents, if yes, where? In previous application, we just took all the documents to the centre and they photocopied and gave back the original.

I will appreciate if someone could please tell how it works now.

Thanks.

The name global doesn't mean the company is global. I think that is where mix up comes in. It's a local company but the name sounds as if it's a global company. How can i explain this to ECO? Please advise
