Let's all calm down and ignore rumours. The important thing is the make up of the squad for the opening match of the premier league season.

Spending the money to solve the problem will not be a bad decision. Spending it on the right players is another thing. When Pep was spending everyone kinda knew where he was going and what he intended to achieve. His reputation and Arab money kinda made it easy.

Again we have the Glazers as owners, are they willing to spend or are they interested in something else. Its Manchester united and I believe that should count for something to these players apart from seeing the $ they would get.

If this is the problem who is supposed to do the convincing? Ed or OGS? And poeple kinda have a problem with both of them. Some think OGS is deficient tactically and might spend effort convincing the wrong players while others believe Ed na commercial tins him dey good at. Wanting to solve the issues with money can be a problem and solution depending on how we go about it.

I will still be positive though, believing the right things would be done. Na nairaland we dey dey analyse grin
I can't bring OGS into this yet because he just got here, whereas we have been failing in the transfer window for years. We've had Mourinho and LVG, so that's not an issue.

You can sell an idea even if you haven't tested it before. It all depends on the guy doing the convincing

That is the Koko. The expensive signings we've had in the past haven't lived up to expectations. Di Maria, Pogba and Lukaku.

I really hope things will be fixed.

Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Lana1(m): 10:20pm On Jun 01, 2019
Poch that couldn't gather the balls to bench starboy for Moura in a UCL final.

But some peoples want OGS sacked after 5 months and Poch hired in his place because OGS started Young and seemingly has no taktiks.

Mesef i wanted Poch to replace Mourinho b4 OGS came around. But Poch has managed to bottle again as per usual. Time to sit down and be humble and hope OGS succeeds.
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Lana1(m): 10:22pm On Jun 01, 2019
Liverpool have 6 UCL titles.

The other English teams to have won it have 7 combined.

Liverpool are currently the better team. They have double our UCL and are 2 league titles away from us. They will be defending their UCL next season and will probably reach the final again while we play in Kings Landing on Thursday nights.

My chest is paining me... sad
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Oasis007(m): 10:22pm On Jun 01, 2019
Poch lost the Trophy on his own. He's ball-less and seems overreacted by many Dudes here. Must Kane and Alli start all Matches as far as they are available whether fit or not?

Thank God he's not appointed as a United Manager, coz he would definitely make some Players untouchable like De Gea, Rashford, Pogba, Matic, Lingard, Martial, Young...... Even Smalling might be untouchable under him.

Congratulations to Klopp. He deserves it!

United , its time to Think.

Liverpool has done a net transaction of about £150 million pounds over the past 3 years selling deadwoods and building above average players to superstar status.

Much of Woodward acquisition seems to have been about quick fixes, commercial gains and not a long term plan to win trophies.

Infact, i think we are damned too hard on our current players, None of them forced their way into United, . The ball rests with our Technical advisers and the club managers. If a worker isnt performing in the corporate world he is fired.

Liverpool and mancity cleared out unwanted players over 3 seasons but we look clueless in those 3 years chasing marquee signings. Liverpool even sold the overpriced couthino for £150 million and used the money for good purchases.

I am happy for Liverpool but i feel sad for my club because it may take about 5 years before we can find winning ways with our current managers. We dont seem to have smelled the coffee.

One can only hope that OGS has learnt a lesson or 2 from all these. The lesson for 2019 UCL, You dont need expensive signings to win trophies with 1 or 2 you are fine.

Alli was trash but u can't blame Poch for starting Kane.

He is their best player and so any sane coach would start him whether half fit or not.

Imagine Zidane benching ronaldo in a champions league final because he just came back from injury, like who does that?

All of you scummites are bunch hypocrites, if he had benched Kane and lost, u all would have been shouting why would he bench his best player in a champions league final, if he is fit enough for bench then he is fit enough to start...

I can understand the kokane addict. That one is stupìd.

But, no one asked you for ur opinion. But you still came here to drop it regardless while insulting United fans. Later if they say Chelsea fans no get sense, una go dey vex.

Not many here would ve cared if he benched Kane and they lost. Coz some people here have said b4 that Spurs play better without Kane.

So u know Kane was half fit but u still wanted him to start. How'd that work out for Spurs?

Imagine benching Ronaldo?? Err....that's Ronaldo bros. Ronaldo and Messi have earned the status to not be compared on the same level as regular players. So ur Ronaldo analogy is dead on arrival.

Go back to ur thread if u no get better thing talk.

Already told friends that Kane and Sissoko will cost their team this trophy, and even expected the scores to be 2-0 within the first ten minutes of the match.

Poch not starting Kane would have been a miracle lol. Kane enjoys a god-like position at that club, so even Moura's performances wasn't going to keep him on the bench. Alli and Eriksen were missing too

Son and Rose played some good football.

On the other side, the Egyptian and Firmino were missing throughout. Only Mane alongside great support from the fullbacks was really dangerous.

cheesy I wonder oo...its just one of those things that was always going to backfire if spurs didn't win...

No one talked about starting firmino
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by MRTA7: 12:03am On Jun 02, 2019
Its easy to say in hindsight but I definitely felt it was a mistake starting Kane. He hasn't played a competitive match in well over a month and you want to start him in the CL final. He should have been coming off the bench late in the game.

Poch has still done a great job to get as far as he did. Probably the only team in top leagues not a spend a penny last summer and the got to the CL final and finished in the top 4. So he definitely deserves credit for that. I think the occasion was too much for spurs and Liverpool were quite comfortable because they have the experience and they are just a better team than spurs so Kane or not, Liverpool would have probably won.

No one asked 4 my opinion but u guys here made it look like poch made a great tactical blunder by starting Kane that's why I forced to give my opinion. Is the insult hypocrites or scummies, which one?

Not many here would have cared if Kane was benched and spurs lost? Story, speak 4 urself. One egbon up there was even saying, this is the pochettino u guys were recommending 4 united, someone dat does not have the ballz to bench Kane. If Kane started the match and spurs lost, the reverse would have been the case.

Yes I know Kane was not fully fit but there is no way poch would have benched him for Moura, if u guys said he should have started moura in place of alli dat would have been a valid point not bench Kane (someone dat delivers goals every season) for Moura...

Since ronaldo is another planet level player, let me use another example. Imagine Chelsea benching hazard (their best player) because he just returned from injury or even man utd benching main man pogboom when he is not injured or suspended. There are times dat a player can even decide to play with injury set. 2012 champions league final in Munich, do u think Cahill was fully fit or Luiz was fully fit?
