My stance was based on if Ed can get these players around Pogba. If he can't, Pogba will continue to struggle and will be a misfit in the team. His ability and commitment will be questioned every game. If Ed brings in these players then Pogba will be a huge fit, if not I fear for his career

Although I agree we haven’t been spending wisely but having 14 at the club since 2015 is not an indicator. It simply means we have little turnover. If 9 or 10 of those 14 are performing well there’ll be no qualms.

Also, of those 14 you listed, 5 (35%) were signed by SAF and just one of them is worthy of a starting position today.

Like you said, we’re just blowing money upandan anyhow, renewing contracts of players we should be looking to offload.
