I think it was last season Mourinho informed us that Ed was on holidays when clubs were scrambling to buy players and ship out deadwoods. Ole will probably not stand up to Ed even if he isn't making any move to bring in new players.
See Madrid for an instance, Militao, Jovic have been signed, deals for Hazard and Mendy are in the works but nothing concrete involving United yet. Even Liverpool are clearing the last badge of deadwood to replace them with potential first teamers.
