please good people of nairaland,I'm also interested in this journey. How do i start? somebody please help an agent is requesting for 1.5m to help me out.but with this thread i have seen, no more agent |
Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by Dedzstar789: 5:08am On Jun 09, 2019 |
minasota: 1.5M for what? I applied myself and eventually got a TRV. Read the thread and ask questions when you’re confused. It’s not hard. Just read and get your documents in order. The use of an agent doesn’t guarantee a successful application. Imagine paying 1.5 only to be denied? Like I said. Read, ask questions whenever you get confused and you’ll be fine. 2 Likes 3 Shares |

minasota: Please use that money and add to your proof of funds. Imagine 1.5m where as the highest you can pay for the application is about 62k ( paper route+biometrics + PP couriered to your house). Please to avoid future regrets, I will advice you do it your self. Most times, the collect your money, they submit fake documents and at the end you are either denied or inadmissible. |

I will be submitting my application this coming week and my itinerary and the event/fun trip I will attend while on the visit is in the first week of July. Should I go ahead to apply with the date or make my itinerary a bit later? Thank you. |
Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by SimpleDimples: 9:27pm On Jun 09, 2019 |
pointednose: If your visit is first week of July, is there enough time for application processing. As at today, the processing time is 44 days as against 45 days shown last week. 1 Like |

SimpleDimples:Does this apply to people that submitted since May too wen it was 37 days |
Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by SimpleDimples: 9:14am On Jun 10, 2019 |
Greatg0809: No it doesn't, You have to calculate your processing time based on the number of days shown during that week of application. This information is based on the previous timing used for my friends' application. However the length of processing time depends on the type of TRV and how fast your information are verifiable. |
Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by SimpleDimples: 9:16am On Jun 10, 2019 |
Greatg0809: You have to work with the 37 days if that Was the processing time as at the time of submission. |

Please I submitted an application for my dad and my mum since April (paper route). I linked it to online account and when I tracked it today, I saw the Document status as “counterfoil”, Status; your document is valid, expiry date as 2023/02/24 for the two of them and country of issue NIGERIA. Under final decision, your application was approved for the two of them. Please what does cointerfoil means and what is the next step please. |

Hey nairalands, please I need your help, I found out that my parents recently started processing their TR visa yo Canada through an agent and they don't really understand the process. They went to do their biometrics in Abuja they told me they submit the forms and their passport( I don't really understand how that works) but they went on the 30th of may. Few days later I checked my dad's email to see a message containing a tracking number( the date on the mail was 30th may) but until now my mum hasn't seen any email. Currently am asking them to contact their agent What do you think is wrong. Am guessing she gave a wrong email Please kindly explain how the visa processing is and what can she do to get her tracking number. They applied together but my aunty who invited them said they are supposed to have separate tracking numbers (I don't understand this so called agent they have sef) 1 Like |

Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by OmoBendel24: 9:35pm On Jun 10, 2019 |
SimpleDimples: Wrong! Processing times you see weekly are a reflection of the time frame (I think even with a few days transmission time added or so) it took to process the applications of about 80% of the applicants who got decision made mails, etc in the last two weeks or thereabouts. I remember I posted something on this a couple of years ago, don't know how easy I can find that post now. Will try sha |

OmoBendel24:Sorry explain biko, not understanding |
Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by SimpleDimples: 8:02am On Jun 11, 2019 |
OmoBendel24: Oya count back from the decision date to the application and check if it doesn't tally. Longer processing time more than the stipulated depends on how fast VO verifies your information. For my friends, Applied April 11th and the processing time was 35 days and the got their decisions May 17 which is within the stipulated time. |
