eeer... i don't think so. they must have someone in the inside ( bank) You can't hack people's passwords unless someone in the inside gives out such informations. i ve heard bank staffs in Nigerian banks asking cutomers of their passwords, especially the uneducated And Ignorant ones.


Bank staffs, are not Allowed to ask for customers passwords, i ve Also seen people At the ATM asking strangers in the queue for help on how to enter pins or make transfers. So most Nigerians give out their details willy nilly willingly Anyway.

Phone-based sim lock is just for that phone and nothing more than that. Please, let's all be careful in this jungle.

I won't agree with that bro, some of those customer care reps don't know Shit. Try it yourself by creating a SIM lock on your SIM and insert it into another phone, it wont work until you enter the puk code requested

no its not bullshit, they mostly do cardless transactions which require only OTP(one time passwor) to be sent to the owner of the account as his transaction code. So once the sim is on and can recive message they are done. It happened to me and i was shocked. Our financial institutions are very vulnerable

most of you are failing to understand that bvn is linked to all your bank account which means they don't need it to get pin. they only need it to retrieve all bank account linked to it. from there , they will use the sim to try out their act with all banks linked to the bvn.

most of them have gone advanced to the extent that they now have insider to get info regarding your bvn and sim connected to the bank . this is how they operate . so don't under estimate these guys with the level they have gone.

this is how one was caught recently using bvn to retrieve bank details with insider in most of the banks. so be guided

Stop misleading people. When you go to your bank to do some transactions (eg to fill a dispense error form), some banks ask you to write your BVN. If someone can steal your money by knowing your BVN, most bank accounts will be emptied by unscrupulous bank staff. For someone to withdraw your money, they need your pin and sometimes token.
You cannot withdraw someone's money just by knowing their BVN or bank account number.

Nothing will happen to your fund if you post your BVN on Twitter. However, it is a personal information, not for public consumption. It's like challenging someone to post their bank account on Twitter. Nothing will happen as well, but it is also supposed to be personal.
