My brother I have spoken to over 30 persons in the past two months. Few people are financial literate can spot a profitable venture enough to invest in it. I've offered a jeep,my house, lawyer,CAC registration certificate, acres of lands I bought for farming yet they disbelieve. I suggest we pray hard for finds to grow our enterprises somehow. Its sad before people listen to you they shout scam. God bless your hustle. Me I have tried,I'm exhausted and may just throw away my plans and travel out.

guy travel out. use your own capital to start your own ideas. there is no successful company that started in Nigeria from Nigerians. most big business/companies u see are from people who were outside nigeria but came back to invest, or lucky people who received investment from foreigners.

we dont value ideas here until it blows.

as an entrepreneur your own capital is your most valuable asset

Please give a brief description of your business model but you may leave out sensitive details for now.

How much funding are you looking for?

What do you plan to do with it? Is it for purchase of equipment or for enhancing working capital?

I am willing to invest in an existing business to acquire new equipment and tools to enable them expand their business and earnings between now and end of this year. My preference will be for people involved in something related to hand work, where addition of a few critical equipment, tools and /or materials can make a substantial difference to their business. e.g electronics repair, carpentry, metal works, shoe making, fashion design, bag making, machine repairs, car repair, sewing machine repair, bakery, etc. I may also help with the rent for a bigger space if required. You must have been running the business for at least 6 months with clear evidence of earnings.

The maximum amount to invest is 1 million naira which must be sufficient for the expansion, and the business owner must give clear plan of how much he/she is able to pay back monthly. I am unwilling to give money directly to anybody as I have been scammed on this forum before. Hence I will pay directly to the seller of the equipment or tools in my name, which will then be leased to the person to use. I am even willing to fully set up the business expansion and allow you to use it based on agreed T & Cs. Of course, if you don't live to reasonable expectations, you can be replaced.

The business must be based in an easily accessible part of Lagos, but may consider Ibadan or Ogun State in an exceptional case.

If I am able to recover double of my total investment within a year, I will be willing to transfer full ownership back to the owner. Otherwise, I will consider a longer term involvement in the business, including future expansion if the current owner fulfill his/her promises as at when due and I am sufficiently interested in the business. I will also be willing to jointly invest with others.

You can give a summary of your business proposal here and leave a WhatsApp or email contact, and I will contact you if interested. No need to send me a PM.

Cheers.

We are Elganora Limited. we are into Agro commodities and Solid minerals trading. We have various opportunities available at hand but the one I want to throw open is that of Soyabeans cultivation in Kwara North.

High points
*Land leased and Cleared 20 hectares
*Seeds available for planting
*Land is very fertile, fertilizer not needed.
*Our funds is hanging that's why we are cash trapped
* Investment funds needed 960,000 for ploughing, planting, chemical and Labour for a period of 4 months.

Projected output (good yield)
1,000kg/hectare
20 hectare = 20,000kgs

Bad yield
800kg/hectare
20 hectare = 16,000kgs

Projected selling price
Based on last year's price, we project that the lowest and highest price possible for pickup this year to be 115/kg and 125/kg respectively.

if you are interested help do the maths and let's discuss.

Note: Am posting this because am running out of time. Preferably someone with a basic knowledge of farming or agro trading is preferable. If we can't plant this month there is no point.

Anyone who is interested but without the basic knowledge can still get in touch but we might not be able to do business because of the time frame so everything can be arranged against next year. thanks

Hi Kenni,

Unfortunately, I am more service inclined than manufacturing if you notice from my post above.

But, I would like to ask if you have approached the Bank of Industry (BOI) for a loan? Your business seem to be the right candidate for their loan, and their interest rate seem to be reasonable for SMEs.

My main issue with manufacturing is that the effort put in is often not commensurate with income and the profit margin is usually rather slim, except you produce in mass. The process involved from raw material sourcing, to manufacturing, logistics, stocking, marketing and sales is just too cumbersome for me as there are too many factors beyond your control. But anyway, some people are more disposed to it than others.

Notwithstanding the above, the teaching aid sounds interesting to me, but I would probably be more interested if there was a specific large order from a reputable client (e.g a school chain) for which you are trying to meet demand.

Cheers.

Good concept by the way, but you did not state how much you need for the marketing. The commercial option is particularly interesting, especially in areas where only 14 seater buses serves a particular destination.

I however have some questions/comments as follows:

1. The market for the VIP service seems saturated, as you can easily get private car hires in any part of Lagos and negotiate for them to take you to another state. Is there any particular advantage of using your service?

2. In the face of current security situation in the country, how do you vet drivers on the platform? Long distance travelling increase the risk of kidnapping, robbery, rape, etc.

3. How do you ensure security of the drivers and other passengers, in case some group of criminals book the commerial taxi to a particular destination?

4. What plan do you have to mitigate complaints of driver's misdemanour as currently made on Uber and Taxify?

5 Is there any particular reason why you did not want to use Google Map for the address like other taxi apps?

Have you considered the option of working directly with known interstate transport companies who can mitigate the risks listeed above and then provide the app to help optimise their passengers? Otherwise, how would people be willing to entrust their lives to an unknown company,? How will you manage all the risks involved, as your organisation would be liable in a case of serious crime against drivers or passengers?

Regards.

first I need you to know I am currently an uber/bolt(taxify) driver and I can proudly tell you I am one of those driver's that was contracted when uber first lunched in Lagos so all your concern has been properly looked into and reasonable solution provided. yes interstate travel is more risky than traveling within the state. to reduce fatigue from driving. I am assigning to each travel an amount of kilometer that is to be covered daily in relation to my commercial drivers. yes i'll be working closely with the regular transport particularly to kickstart the project. The ultimate projection is to have individuals invest in the platform like that of uber and taxify. as regards the insecurity , the entire country security system is in shamble so we can only try to put in place a system that helps our security operative with investigation when an unforseen situation happens. all trips are monitored on our platform meaning we know when a trip start and ends, we know what routs driver and passenger would ply and we also have the working phone numbers of all user on the platform and picture of drivers , have been made compulsory. I intend to also make passenger's pictures compulsory in the nearest future but not now during the lunching. we also intend to integrate the facial recognition security measure in nearest future, all this would come with an upgrade and the reason the uber/taxify like system wouldn't work is because data network would always get lost during interstate trip due to network fluctuation. because it is long distance travel drivers are guaranteed to huge amount of return couple with my low commission charge and there is also a rating system that signify consent from the passenger that service was well received and that driver can be paid by us. this I believe would go a long way to check drivers unruly behaviour and reckless driving. my marketing is a combination of media and referral promotional marketing. a minimum of a million naira is needed and a document to this regards would be sent to you if interested in investing. I have a registered company titled thoughtfulthinker consultancy. can't share more than this. thank you

We are trivia universal link, and have lots of products down our pipeline for future production. Our current project is the processing of a staple food. (This is a product we have been working on for over 3yrs)
We developed a product, which is 10 mins jollof rice meal. It takes only 10mins to get it cooked ,thereby saving time, energy, money and resources an average jollof rice consumer spends to get a rice meal fully prepared. However,We have a huge ready market(between the range of children to adult) for our products and that's why we need capital to purchase a machine, and our packaging wraps. We are into mining of solid minerals and we supply our product to ceramic company owned and operated by Chinese in Ogun State. We presently have a 9 figure contract we are servicing.

We need investors to sponsor haulage /transportation of the material from Ibadan where the mine site is located to Igbessa. It cost N4500 to transport 1 tons from mine site to the factory. We shall return N4700 after payment is made (payment takes 3-5 days including Sunday).

I will not be comfortable to share documents here but I'll provide you with list of documents am prepared to share via mail.

1. Supply Contract from the ceramic company
2. 18 months bank statement
3. All relevant CAC documents.
4. 18 months invoices
5. Pictures and videos of our operations

Also, a visit to the ceramic company to have us verified, perhaps meet with the procurement manager and also director.

A visit to the mine site to witness our operations first hand.

We are actually looking for an investor that could handle 1000 tons, N1,000,000 will only transport 220tons, thus we are inviting more investors that might be interested. Considering the track record of the organizations prompt payment which can be verified by juxtaposing our invoices with bank statement, you are guaranteed to rollover your investment at least 4 times in a month.
