I don't know but the way she drives forward coupled with her passing ability could make her a good candidate. Plus she has shown she can adapt to new positions so why not?

Before the tournament started, I stated that Okobi has been a weak link in the team. If we can draft Ajibade to her position, we wont recognise this team again.

I said the same thing but I don't think Ajibade is the answer. We need somebody who can hold on to the ball and take on defenders. This is what Okobi is lacking and I don't see anyone that can naturally do that in this team.

Watching the France-Norway game and I gotta say the quality of play is insanely high (for women football, that is). By and large we are in the same group with two teams that are favorite for the trophy. No shame in finishing third.

Norway is still in the game due to their solid defense, the reason I said after the game with Nigeria that they have arguably the best back line in the tournament, they are looking to counter France.

Now for Nigeria we will need to be extremely disciplined in our defense against this French team but counter wise, the coach should play, Okeke(usual position) Kanu and Oshoala upfront because of their speed, pace and athleticism. We have the personnel to seriously do damage to them via counter attack, we will just also need to buff up the defence part of the midfield, a 5-3-1-1 system might be deplored.

France 1-0 up. This is good for us. I dont think Korea can score against Norway though. We are in a tough group and doing OK so far.

The only way the Super Falcons can get a draw on Monday is if the French take it easy on us.

After all, France only needs a draw to win the group; and they would be mindful of avoiding unnecessary injuries and/or yellow cards. So, there is an incentive for them to not go full-throttle on Monday.

The Super Falcons gaffer has praised his players for playing to instructions to claim victory against the Asians

The Nigeria women's coach Thomas Dennerby has praised his players for their solid display in their 2-0 win over South Korea in Grenoble.

The Super Falcons came into the contest with hopes of bouncing back from their 3-0 loss to Norway in their first tie last Saturday in Reims.

At Stade des Alpes, Asisat Oshoala's second-half strike and Kim Doyeon's own goal gave the African champions their first 2019 Women's World Cup win on Wednesday.

While lauding his ladies on sticking to the match plan, the coach believes they have a good chance if they can replicate their form against France.

“Today our discipline was better than against Norway – no mistakes at all," Dennerby told the media.

"If we can be as compact as we were today, don’t let teams overplay us in midfield and find passes through, we know we’ll get opportunities for players like Asisat.

"The players followed our match plan and that’s all you can really ask. Now we go to play France, a really good team. If we can come out with a point everyone would be extremely happy.

"But you can’t just go to defend – you need to know what to do when you win the ball back. And hopefully, we can have a little bit of success.”

The win means Nigeria are third on the Group A log with three points and will hope to wrap up their group stage outing with a fine result against the hosts, Les Bleus on Monday.

But can play anywhere in the midfield. She was our DM at the 2016AWCON while Florence Omagbemi was in charge, while in 2018AWCON she played centrally with Ayinde being the DM..

I'm expecting us to play really well, but maybe lose to France by one goal. Then we need to wait till all matches are played to see if we go through. Already, we can start predicting from today's matches. If Brazil beat Australia by more than 2 goals, then our chances improve.

All I know is that the woman is almost unplayable. Her graft in the middle is second to none right now. She is in such better shape right now.
