6k mileage, 4 months on uber? An average uber car does between 4000 and 5500 miles a month.

Do you mean 8,000km in 4weeks? That's an increase of 8000 km in odometer?

So let me use my experience today to derail this thread small tongue

So my first trip was VI. Dropped rider and I got another(Heart leaped for joy)
Called rider and asked him his location. He told me. Asked him his destination and he flared up. He was like "Cancel it if you're not going. What's this rubbish?" and he hung the call on me.

My ego was telling me to cancel while the "meekful" spirit of Jesus(definately not mine) told me to get to the pickup.

Got there, oga entered and was just pouring his anger on me. He wasn't insultive neither did he disrespect me, but he was angry. I was trying to explain but he didn't want to hear. He said "If you want to go, start the trip or cancel so I'll come down".

I spoke briefly to God to change any Alagbole or Iju or Apapa there and I slid START TRIP. It was Sangotedo grin

Oga was just vexing and never even let me talk. He complained from Akin Adesola to Samuel Manuwa and finally he said "Don't talk to me please, just drive". All these while I was just saying "I'm sorry bros"

It's was a silent ride to his abode. Ended trip. Oga paid and then he said, "Will you be available by 2pm? I would like you to take me to Ikeja".

At that point, I knew I just graduated from 1 star to 2 star and above grin

Sincerely you guys have made d job easier for some of us because most riders just start talking from
Hello - rider :I'm at location going to so so destination , are you going?
without asking them oh
I will just say yes or No.
Even with chat sometimes

decided to come out yesterday after a long sabatical ,as work and family pressure kept me off the hustle.it was my driest run ever.no single request. when I finally got one at the Atlantic cinemas,I thought this was it.the name that came up was "IG of police",but I was not intimidated. I called ,but it went unanswered.the rider called me with another no.it was a female voice.

me:hello,good afternoon.......

rider: where are you?(I hate this question with a passion)

me: good afternoon ma,I'm at............

rider: (maliciously) Oga where are you!!!

me: (cancelled trip)
rider started calling non stop.didnt pick call.i will be cooked if I did.grin

I decided to call it a day.did pick and drop .visited my uncle, then another pick and drop home to my village in ikorodu.

That public holiday was terrible but I still thank God

Grossed only 12k. Riders were scarce. I patrol Lekki tire. I don't even want to remember that day

Yes

Bought my own car, and I didn’t owe him a kobo, when I was dropping his car

This is the kind of statement that puts investors or would be partners on alert, on average corporate drivers are not able to save enough to buy a tokunbo car within 3 years, yet in less than 3 years uber drivers are able to achieve this feat... #partnersonalert

Very on point ...uber creates network too ,gives u the chance to meet different people from all walks of life.. It is up to that person to make the best of it ...

O boy that is your choice.. I guess most of you know much better than the car manufacture ... for those that are doing uber, your best bet is to look for good oil .. Ur cars are constantly on the road, doing more miles than the average cars .. For my cars with extended performance oil ,I do oil change every 12k miles .. This has been going on for two years plus now ..your cars are constantly getting a beaten.. You need to protect the engine...

How long do you cover 12k miles

Depends on the driver ,some takes about 6months,but mostly it is written down when 12k miles will be up. So my drivers keep track of it

True - They can afford a car from other source.
False - Definetely not from rental savings.

You have 2 or more drivers on 1 vehicle.

NO Ehailing driver can consistently do 9-10k miles monthly.

Jamb question cheesy

Example

Driver 1 works from 5am-7pm. Hands over vehicle to driver 2, works from 7pm - 5am hands over back to driver 1.

I have taught you 1+1, now do 1+2
