There are some small countries that don't require so much for a visa but only ask you to invest around $500 in their economy and you'd be allowed to move in and settle. You'll find your feet in no time. You can Google "countries that require less for visa" or *10 easiest countries to migrate to"

Let me also add, please don't give your money to all these scammers that promise to work visa for you. They will leave you in pains.
Good luck ma, may God make way for all of us.
grin, 500 wetin, oga it's 500,000 dollars, after you invest, they'd give you citizenship immediately

Help A Single Mum With Ideas

Hi everyone..as the topic states I need advise help and personal assistance too if possible.

I'm a single mum of two little kids and I really wish to start another phase of my life away from Nigeria. I feel it will greatly help I and my kids move on from the past.
I'm not too old to work as I'm in my early 30's. Finance is available though limited to a certain amount.

I would love a situation where I can leave with my kids and not have to come back for them later..somehow, they seem to be my motivation to go on.

With these information, which country do you suggest that will be easy for immigration.

The easiest and most affordable is UAE. You will have to leave your kids behind at least you are able to secure a job.

Hello. I am also thinking of relocating to the UK via study visa with my wife and infant. In which she would be dependent on me and work full time.
My fears: how do we pay bills and education once we land there. And also plan to continue studying (PhD)so as to lengthen our stay there. Are the plans sustainable?
uk is a nono. Try canada

My kids are 8 and 6. I was actually married and went through a bitter divorce last year. Before then we had been seperated for some years.
My kids came out of this union scarred and are very jumpy whenever anyone yells or seems angry...
Thankfully, I was given custody by the court.

I just feel a different environment would help them...help us greatly. Probably help them not look over their shoulders too often.

As I said earlier, they are my motivation for going on so leaving them behind is really out of it for me.

Are you trying to keep their fathers away from them to get back at him What's the core motive behind this resettlement

Thank you for your response. Any guide on this...maybe a link I could follow that would assist in the process.

Dear friend, please be extremely careful on Nairaland because out of 100 persons that contact you, 99.9 will want to scam you of the little you have.

Some of them may claim they want to marry you now.

Please take my advice.

Just my little advice

Ah shut it. The cost for settling in a new terrain is high. It's always best to expand and leave big.

how does my comment correlate with your own comment?

Working with visit visa is illegal.

Don't try it @4mykids

My brother do your research, Australia officers different classes of visting visa. There's work visa, that's ones similar to express entry, then visiting visa where u can work as u visit. Research bro

As a single mom with two kids, first you didn't state reason why you want to leave. Even if you find your way to canada today it doesn't change a thing. So i ll advice you not to run away from what ever mistake you may have done in the past. If the father of your kids is alive please let him share in the parenting. Goodluck

The simple truth is migrating with kids is extremely difficult except you have a LARGE PURSE nothing less than $25k for you and 2kids. This would be for housing, bills groceries etc for about 1year before you fully settle.

If you have that kind of money, why not start a business here in Nigeria?

This is the same thing I said o

I am not Sarz but I do preach the need for us to be legit in our dealings....who knows the victim's of scam could be our brothers, sisters and even relatives....our people say when you see a fowl using its leg to scatter faeces, one should chase the fowl away cos you never know who will end up buying the fowl....is like selling illicit drugs at the chemist shop....one day ones relative might be a victim ... I love to do the right thing cos I know one day I will account for my deeds on earth...I am not doing it to impress people

You don't need to go abroad for that. I've helped someone in similar case they stayed in Nigeria and were cool. The motive is too little for such a move. If you had 3 Million to travel out why not start a convenience store in a different environment and get two baby sitters both to sell and watch over your kids while your sisters maintain oversight

My reason for japa-ing is just for the emotional well-being of my kids and I.
I have a good paying job actually in administration with years of experience although my degree is in the sciences. I also in my spare time do a bit of freelancing (write and transcribe).
Truth is that I just want to be far from Nigeria, it can even be in any other favourableAfrican country. I deserve that peace of mind, my kids too. I'm not running away from anyone. I just need to start my life afresh with my kids.

I really feel you. I dont have any connection in terms of traveling, ofcourse I dont work at the Embassy.

Few advice though, real truth here. I dont know much money you have to say enough money. Living abroad is very expensive. Now, figure this, dont let anyone fool you about paying 800k or 1m to get a working permit for any western country, yes I said any western country. That is a LIE.

Life is very difficult if you dont have the right document, number one, not many landlord will want to rent to you, you can't obtain drivers license in some state (U.S). The inconvenience is just too much and unless you have unlimited funds, few months down the line, since no income is coming in, you will deplete your reserve and boom just like that, you go from frying pan to fire.

Say, you have your papers... one hurdle out of the way, the another hurdle there is your kids.. reason, if you go to work, who will watch your kids for you after they get off from school. In some states in the U.S, kids 12 and below can not be left alone otherwise CPS will take them from you and they becomes wards of the state.

I will advice you though, be careful, think every ideas through before you leap, once you leap , you are out of your comfort zone and mistake could be disastrous. I lived in Canada and U.S . Sojourned Europe for a while. I can tell you good and bad stories of people that were in a similar condition. Your best bet is, what ever country you choose, from your story coming out of bad divorce traumatized, the kids traumatized too and possibly your life in danger, you could be able to obtain asylum. Once you get your paper, just be involved in the community you live mostly your church, there night be a support group for women, make friends and..... all the best.

Again, look before you leap!!!

Madam I have read through all the comments
You want to relocate
U are a single mum
Do u have the consent of their dad
These will be needed if they must leave with u
But really do u think it will be easy
U have no papers
Limited funds
Abroad different from wetin u dey see for TV oh
You will pay weekly rent of at least 50k a week
We never talk of health insurance
Bus and train tickets
Who will pay school fees
Abi you think say school cheap
Madam I will advice if u must leave
Do it alone
Till u can remarry
And have the man adopt ur kids
Na so I think say abroad be
Till I travel see
Its not funny
Be wise
Job no dey abroad oh
Except u wan do cash at hand jobs
Or ashawo work
Ur mistake even if u won't like it is that u don born
Its hard for single people not to talk of a mother with kids and not even a kid

If u can't leave ur kids
Then stay here and enjoy next level
If u must travel
U may have to leave ur kids behind
Forget that talk say u will settle in better with them
They will cause u frustration over there

It depends on the "abroad"

There are jobs in some abroad

That's what she needs to figure out. It still works but it must be well packaged before it can be considered and she needs to be here first. Problem is how she can survive with the kids during the process.
If she can come over first, some people may be able to house them for a while until they sort themselves out.
