Look who’s helping mommy whip up meat pies (like she knows what she’s doing). grin
So many things still left to be done but we will get there. Hopefully it won’t be too much food left after.

We didn’t really celebrate the first time we bought a house but this time I believe it should be different.
Gratitude and joyfulness go a long way to make a content and happy life. cool

Awwwwwww

Our baby is all grown.

She is surely a natural in the kitchen.

After reviewing different recipes of rice and beans from different countries, I can boldly say that Nigeria's rice and beans recipe is arguably the best .

Cooked in tomato sauce that was seasoned with curry, bayleaf...the aroma was heavenly !

I soak the soyabeans overnight. In the morning I wash and then grind. Then I mix the grinded paste with water and sieve the milk then straight to the fire. When it starts boiling, I add sour water(gotten from pap) and it does the curdling.

Soaking your beans for longer hours or overnight is not advisable.
It makes the beans harder, with little or no taste left .

I tried it and regretted it .

Then, the problem is in the “spicing”. wink
The reason you spice beans AFTER blending for akara and moin-moin.

Beans tastes RAW and BLAND. You season to taste.

Just add a little salt and blend with BEEF or CHICKEN stock instead of water.

good one but next time try this new method don't soak the beans overnights just put it in water for some minutes then wash it will

Arrrrrrrrrgh! grin
You go just “knock” the blender engine ke! grin
I have tried that method too.
It kills the blender because it is too thick.
You also rub the risk of adding too much water.
