However, i asked a question. Can you use a phone without all Google apps, Instagram, Watsapp, Facebook, twitter, etc.

Remember taxify, Uber and Co are built on the backbone of Google maps. They won't function without Google. That means you can't use taxify on Huawei.

I can confidently say that like aviation, China has been poor on mobile technology.

Just take a look at the Chinese cars available. I wont be holding my breath on this. They are good at copying other technology and doing so very poorly

If the koreans, as smart and tech advanced as they are, rely on Google, I can't see the Chinese having a better product

The average phone user doesn't use an iPhone yet iOS is still thriving in spite of its niche status -- it controls only 23% share of the mobile OS market yet even you wouldn't consider that 'dead'. I reckon that HongMeng can grab as much market share as Apple's iOS current share within a few years even if it's just Chinese and Asians alone that adopt it for starters. Even Windows phone still has market share. Outside China, WeChat is popular even while people still use Whatsapp (in SouthEast Asia and even S.A and other parts of the world, WeChat is popular and still being used). That right there is a remarkable feat. I guess you've taken this whole episode very personal hence your consistent pessimism about Huawei's chances. For me personally as a tech enthusiast and hobbyist software developer, I welcome variety of choices for consumers. There's no law that states that American softwares alone should perpetually dominate the tech space. My two cents.

Huawei is a phenomenal phone company, by far the best phone I have ever used. Now all these Chinese phone makers will port to Hongmeng OS because they always support their own.

iPhone is thriving because it has access to those popular apps that everyone use and trust. Ask yourself, why did window and BlackBerry phone devices crash totally out of the market?

This aggressive market strategy by Uncle Sam will likely backfire. I trust the Chinese government to compel all the mobile phone companies in China to go for the Huawei OS and you know what that means, they have the African and Asian Market and will compete for the European market. Huawei might just become the biggest beneficiary of the trade war.

how many Asian countries use Chinese android os?..Koreans,Japanese,Taiwanese,Singaporean etc don't use Chinese android..they use Google Android because Chinese android is riddled with spyware.do u even realise that takes only china and very few Asians countries that uses WeChat?....other Asians countries use Facebook, whatsapp, YouTube, Instagram, Snapchat etc...which aren't present in china.
