Secondly...you're assuming that its a proper divorce abi? I doubt.

No, i am thinking the divorce is somehow cos the divorce is either a year or less than a year. The V.O made mention of that. She filed the divorce after the husband absconded, which is after their travel to the USA.

It's as true as a scam.
Nigerian bloggers have started trying to increase their traffic with US visa shock..Any visa news that doesn't show on any US gov site or social media page is not true. That news only shows on some Nigerian bloggers' sites.

Someone on this thread got his visa today. Thats enough proof.

It is absolutely true, they no longer want us in their country at all. In fact they have cancelled the student visa interviews for Nigerians. Very soon justwise will close this thread coz it would no longer be useful.
Please kindly join the German, Australia or Canada student visa thread.

Yes it is obviously somehow. We do not know the real details of the divorce and/or her story.

Okay ma. Thanks.
This is my proposed transcript. Please gurus in the house, your evaluation will be highly appreciated. God bless you all

Proposed transcript

Me: Good morning

Vo: Good morning, pass me your passport and I20

Vo: why are you going to the US?

Me: I'm going to the US to obtain my masters degree in Computer Information System and Business Analytics at West Texas A&M University.

Vo: why US? Why not do it in Nigeria

Me: It would interest you to know that only about 4 universities in Nigeria actually offer a masters degree in CIS&BA. And of all the schools offering the course, none has a well structured curriculum that aligns with my research interest. Also, a masters degree from the US is well respected and highly ranked in Nigeria as it is believed that the US has some of the best research based institutions in the world.

Vo: why this course?

Me: my decision to study this course is based on two major reasons.
Firstly, as the assistant head of the business analysis dept in my organization, i want to acquire enough skills and knowledge that can help improve efficiency and effectiveness in the areas of project management, Data analysis and data security in my organisation, and this course will equip me with the necessary skills to achieve that.
Secondly, during one of our company's training and development program for the staffs of the Oyo state ministry of finance and budget few years ago, We discovered that one of the major causes of continuous increase of recurrent expenditure is the influx of ghost workers into the state workforce. This is helped by the lack of proper models to efficiently manage, analyze and save data of workers in the state. This problem is not only particular to oyo state as it is also evident in most states in the country. A masters degree in this course would equip me with the required skills, techniques and knowledge to develop efficient models to solve this problem and also place my organization at the front line when it comes to efficient data management as well as its analysis and security.

VO: where do you work?
Me: I work at bleep. We carry out consultancy services to both the private and public sectors. We help in recruitment services, advisory services, training and development, business analysis, marketing, market trends analysis, turn around business, registration of company etc. I currently occupy the position of Assistant Head of Business Analysis & Development Dept.

VO: Why WTAMU?
ME: I decided on west Texas A&M because of the alignment of the curriculum of the school and my research interest. More importantly, i was informed by prof Allison Berry of an ongoing research in the dept that correlates with my research interest and particular to my country Nigeria. The research is on the challenges of data insecurity and its effect on the economy of selected west African countries (Nigeria inclusive). This research would be of immerse benefit to me as it would give me enough insight on the problems and equip me with adequate knowledge and skills to help solve major problems on data insecurity in Nigeria upon my return. Lastly, the school has awarded me a Scholarship which has made my tuition much more affordable for my sponsor.

VO: how did you hear about the school?
ME: I first got to know about the school on Linkedin when Dr Jeffrey Babbs (who is one of the leading Faculty in the school) was talking about his research on data management. His discussions and findings caught my interest so i discussed it with a colleague of mine at work (Mr Adewale) who happened to be an alumnus of the school. Mr Adewale had nothing but great things to tell me about the school. He told me about the quality of faculties the school posses and how research oriented they are. I was impressed with all he said so i made further findings of my own about the school. Using USNEWS.com and Google.com, i found out about the small classes of the school as well as its vision and mission which is focused on making the school a diverse and student centric community of learners.

VO: tell me about your research interest
ME: my research interest is on Business integration and Data security. This deals with the reflection of how I.T is being absorbed as a function of business. It has to do with the synchronisation of Information Technology and Business Cultures as well as the alignment of technology with business strategy and goals and the security of such.

VO: who is paying for this and what does he do?

ME: my dad. He is a successful businessman, he owns 3 companies. 2 in Lagos and 1 in Oyo state. He is also into real estate, he buys, sells and develop landed properties.

VO: what is your plan after graduation?

ME: I plan to immediately return home and to my dad's company to utilize the knowledge and skills acquired to further develop the company. I aim to continue to work closely with my dad to contribute our quota to a more developed and data secured Nigeria.

The obsequiously religious nature of posts here never stops puzzling me. It’s almost as if every Nigerian suddenly finds “god” when it comes to visa applications. You can barely read 2-3 consecutive posts without running into gushy phrases like “it shall end in praise”, “glory”... what in the world is an “angel of visa approval”? In all my years of reading the Bible, I never thought His glory was limited to granting Nigerians exit visas from the hell on earth they created for themselves, despite all the massive churches they’ve built.

I've never seen you here rendering assistance on various visa transcripts being posted here, you only come here looking for one sort of fault or another when it comes to people's acknowledgment of God in their visa process. no matter the preparation one does, there's always a place for acknowledging God, and seeking for his grace,

You sound bitter, I’m not. Simply making an observation which obviously hit you the wrong way hence the overly aggressive response from you.

All it takes is one post to remove the mask of false religion, to reveal your true nature. God isn’t impressed.

There would be no need to “render assistance” on visa transcripts if indeed our professed faith on here is who we truly are... that we are honest, faithful and truth seekers. Germans don’t need visa transcripts, yet we who call on “god” the most do. Think on it.
