Just adjust the highlighted till it suits your taste. In daylight I leave my HDR on(it disables flash), when there it is extremely dark I change it to auto and change my flash to auto too.

Sometimes if I take a picture on my current settings and it is too saturated I reduce my saturation to normal.

Thanks so much for the screen shot cos I just set mine exactly like yours grin

This guy spelling phone as "fone" is annoying me. How hard is it to type PHONE? Before you're done typing, your keyboard will complete it for you sef. Abi he's using Blackberry Bold 5?

Okay, so I've been using the Redmi note 7 for exactly a week.
I got the neptune blue 4 + 64 version with Global Rom. I'm especially thankful that it's the global version cause there was no indication on the section I ordered from and those with Global version explicitly stated were 100k+ and man was not about to spend that amount tongue. I got it from Ojays store on Jumia app for 69,800.

Here are my honest and unbiased thoughts
1. The battery is good, not great but it's certainly very decent. You can get 10+ hrs SOT from 100% with data/wifi on for normal usage, without data you'd get some extra hours. With heavy usage(Gaming with data on), you can get 7.5+hrs SOT. I once played critical ops, an online multiplayer game with max graphics(of course, no lags) for almost 5hrs straight and my battery reduced by about 45%. So battery wise, it's pretty good. And you should know that some range of percentages last better than others. Like your battery might drain from 100 - 95 in about 20minutes but others like 60 - 55 could last double of that. So it's something to take note of.

2. The Speakers are good, it produces good quality and it's pretty loud

3. The Camera is pretty good. I haven't taken that many pictures but the few I've taken with the back camera are consistently good. The front camera is also decent. But in a few cases, you might notice some noise(on both the front and back cam pictures). So it's something to take note of. I haven't used Gcam so I might have a different say if I did.

4. Performance - This is definitely the highlight and sweet spot of the phone for me, I've not experienced any sort of lag/hanging whatsoever. Operations have been smooth. I haven't played a lot of games but the ones I've played, I've thoroughly enjoyed the experience, so in this area it's great for me.

5. Display - The display is pretty sharp and crisp but most of the time, I use the reading mode in order to protect my eyes lol

6. The Charger that comes with the phone is pretty fast but not blazing fast. I charged my phone from 1% to 100% in 2hrs+ (Let's say 2hrs 10 mins). It actually charges pretty quickly(with about 35secs - 1min+ per % increase) until it gets to 90% and then it massively slows downs(which is weird to me since 100 - 90 lasts the least when compared to the other percentage ranges)

7. MIUI is actually very good and is pretty similar to the IOS interface. There are noticeable ads but there are ways you can get rid of that. There's a lot of customisation and I'm totally in love with the full screen gestures. So I really love the UI

8. The build and design is another cool aspect. I got the Neptune Blue and it's so beautiful and satisfying to look at. I even get a lot of comments about how cool it looks.

Overall, the phone is very good and for the price it's an awesome bargain. I highly recommend it.

I haven't gotten a screen protector yet cause I don't know which one to get. I've seen a lot on Jumia and I would like your recommendations. I want one that looks good and won't dull my display. Or if anyone here has and can deliver to Abeokuta before Friday at a reasonable price, you can also quote me.

No mind them. At least we see some people complain about their devices here. But you can't see that on the Samsung Galaxy thread.
there is always factory error/defects on every thousands of productions. samsung is not exempted. in all ways, samsung and apple are the two kings

Easy guys. You are making my a30 look inferior. Just chill guys. All we want is neutrality and we mustnt allow personal opinions lead to degrading samsung brands we prefer less and don't even have..
.
I own an A30
.
I own a mi max 3
.
I must confess that Redmi Note 7 is a better buy if you are looking at versatility, speed, better camera modes and overall beauty.
.
Samsung a30 is a step up of Samsung midrangers and has a cruising infinity display, a wonderful battery life (which bested my redmi note 5), a lovely user interface and the camera isn't bad either. It has better deals of warranty than the redmi here in Nigeria.
.
Both almost have same marched processor with SD getting an upper hand (which is only noticeable in playing high graphic games
.
Both have 4gb ram
Both have 64gb variant
Both have 4000 mah battery
.
With all these similarities, I wonder why some say they are incomparable.
.
Nothing wrong in laying it neutral and allow the buyer make his choice. We know some love the great ips screens. Well, k20 ain't stupid using their amelods as selling points and when you use Samsung ordinary amelod display in the a30, you will know why..
.
aint nothing extraordinary about a30's disply...i have handled the fone and i can bodly say that my bro's huawei y9 2019's display is way brighter than u pple's amoled on a30......compare redmi k20' pro's display to a30's and see the clear difference yet both have the same resolution and amoled

But the trolls here that have suddenly gone mute don't believe that there's always factory errors/defects when it comes to Xiaomi.

When we hype, they say all sorts of crazy things. But when we complain, they rejoice and capitalise on that *one factory error*.

and that was how seanwilliam was calling me xiaomi marketer when I told someone not to go for samsung a10, but redmi 7 or mi a1 grin
..
And btw , the few reason one should go for a 6a instead of mi a1 is if the person want to experience miui, or the person likes the smaller sized redmi 6a
..
..
Current price on jumia are:
Redmi 6a 2/32gb 34k
Mi a1 4/32gb 35k
Mi a1 4/64gb 38k
..
..
Choose wisely
i swear to GOD, i ave only seen xiaomi phone once in my life. na for nairaland i dey hear and see am.
