It happens. I know of one. His wife is a nanny and pregnant with their 4th child. He just sits at home. When the kids are home and hungry, he will send the children to meet the mother at her place of work to collect money for food.

He said he wants to go back to a country he was deported from years ago to go and hustle.

I’m sure he was sitting there expecting the wife to do the work at home and still provide for the family.

A Nigerian man that claims he wants to be a house husband is usually a scam. He’s probably looking for someone to do everything for him.
If he’s a real house husband, he will cook and clean and go to the market for the family, take care of the children, do laundry for his wife , make sure her food is ready when she comes home from work etc.
Show me a Nigerian man that will do all that while the wife provides for the family without feeling like he’s become emasculated.

Nothing wrong with that arrangement if both agree to it but it’s statistically hard to see such an arrangement between Nigerians where the woman ain’t putting in 80% of the total work. Scam

While he’s being a house husband, is he making sure he’s meeting the needs of his wife like she would be meeting his if he was providing?

Does he cook and serve her, wash her clothes, take care of the children and all what not so that she can have time to provide for the family?
