the question is not whether to fill the denial out on the form or not. the question is whether to write a letter of explanation to give further details
Personally I dont see the need of writing a letter explaining the denial of another country to Canada. The letter you should write should be in support of the Canadian application. Except if it was a ban, then you would need to explicitly explain why the ban was issued.

For first time Applicant going for online route, the visa application fees is 65,450k. Second attempt applicant the application fee is 42,450k.
Hi Frank, please do you have an idea how much is the application fee+biometric fee for paper route?

No, the question states - Have you been denied a visa or ordered to leave Canada.... In a situation whereby you've been rejected a visa, the answer should be YES followed by the full details of the refusal (the type of visa, date and reason for the refusal).

Thanks bro, i jst checked the form now, other countries and territories is included in the question.

OK I didn't get response to my inquiries but that's OK. I hope to just get everybody view on this.

First refusal in march-sufficient availability of funds to pay tuition without working, purpose and ties

Second refusal june- travel history, purpose , ties and personal asset. I have travel history and personal asset listed in all applications. From all said purpose and ties boils down to Sop.

Now school starts in sept 1 and have limited time and want to apply immediately.

How can I address this without sounding desperate to migrate when I'm just desperate to save time. I am 30 and engaged, he has agreed to give me a year to finish school so I am desperate for time because its now or maybe never.

I feel you. I checked IMM 1294 and there is a box for a brief explanation which is sufficient.

Dear All, initial application in March refused on the sole basis of "purpose of visit". From the support on this platform, I have since realized that the reason is probably the SOP (8 pages and complicated). GCMS notes just showed up and the explanation is that "The applicant's Plan of studies appears vague and poorly documented". I wanted to confirm that this is indeed about the format of the SOP and not mean something else. Thank you.

I empathise with u, but the truth is your situation is not a eazy one to just comment on.3rd time in a span of 6 month looks desperate already. but, those with more experience should try and comment on this please

State truthfully on the study permit IMM1294E form that you've been refused a US visa in the past and in the SOP should discuss about your intent to study in Canada and why you must depart after your authorized stay.

@frankrobbn1. Hello bro, please I sent you a PM. Please, kindly respond

for how long after a passed medical request should PPR drop?. i have two colleagues who have been waiting for over 3weeks.

No one can't predict how long it takes before you get
a Passport Request after medicals has been declared as passed. My advice is that your friends should send a CSE to the Kenya, Nairobi Immigration office requesting that their application should be finalized and a passport request be sent to them so they can make preparations for their trip. I have a sample of the mail that might be of help.

It is about the articulation of your study plan, and not necessarily the format of the SOP.

Work on writing a strong and convincing SOP. Once you're done, you can contact any of the knowledgeable person's here to help vet the letter so as to be sure that you've tackled the concerns of the visa officer prior to reapplying for your visa.

There really isn't another way to say it. Just write your SOP well, include a strong proof of home tie, and a good statement of account. Your fiancé isn't a strong proof of home tie, please include other proofs.

Good luck.

Please I'm new here, my mum and my uncle are my sponsors, but my uncle is the main sponsor(my mum's step brother, but not from thesame father) which means they don't carry thesame surname. My question now..what proof of relationship can I submit?, he is a business man, based in US. My school only asked for acceptance fee, and I have applied for the certificate of Quebec, which I should receive this week and hoping to apply for my visa next week. Pls it's an agent helping me with my application I just want to know much about everything so I can get involved too. Thanks.

An eight-page SOP is just too long and the VO probably didn't read it, or got confused reading it. In my view, the only way a VO would read such a lengthy SOP is (a) you have a concise TL DR on the first page OR (b) your writing is like Chimamanda prose.

An eight-page SOP is a sign to the VO that you have not yet figured out your reasons for wanting to study in Canada.

Let your uncle transfer the said fund into your personal bank account then he should also give you his statement of account + a letter of support stating he wants to sponsor you, his reason(s) for wanting to do that and state that he has even gone further to transfer the fund into your account to show commitment. As for your mum all she needs to do is write a letter of support stating same thing above and her own statement of account and a proof of how she makes her money(your uncle should do same).

Thanks, Bracha. I agree. I think I was using the word "format" in a loose sense....probably need to be more careful with choice of words since this is likely the problem with the SOP.

laughs! If only I can write like the great Chimamanda! Point taken, but not sure I understand the terms "TL DR". Whilst I do not plan to write another 8page SOP, it will be good for future reference to know what it means. Google says it is abbreviation for "too long didn't read" notations, but not sure that was the context you used it.

To the bolded, Apart from his letter of sponsorship, his SOA and other relevant business documents, you can include a family tree which will link the relationship of the extended family.

I did same thing and has been requested to proceed with medical examination.

You may wish to welcome other contributions from the house.

Its a 5yrs ban for misrepresentation. For your own good, declare any visa denial. Even if its Ghanian visa that you were denied
Stating your other countries previous visa denial or not has no effect to your your Canada Application.

I think you misunderstood the moniker. He said not declaring or withholding the information that an applicant has been refused a visa will result to a 5 years ban. He didn't say stating previous visa denial will adversely affect the applicant's Canada application.
