Hello great people.

Is it really necessary to include flight booking as one of the documents for UK visitor's visa?

I got the below email since the 10th of June that my application has been dispatched and i am yet to receive any email from VFS for collection. Today is 19th. Does it usually take this long for VFS to update at their end? I track online and its still showing "Application Received By DMC". I did biometric since the 16th of May. Its been 5weeks now. Im begining to think something is wrong somewhere. Huh......

Dear xxxxxxxxxxx

Your UK visa application has been dispatched from the UK Visa Section.

If you are applying from Europe, North & West Africa and GCC countries:

- And you submitted your application at a visa application centre - You will receive an email shortly from TLS or VFS about collecting your decision. Please ensure you check your e-mail account and do not attend the VAC until you are advised to.

VAC - Visa Application Centre.

if your refusal was 2 years ago, I dont think anyone can categorically say that your budget can’t change in these 2 years either more or less... even the cost of everything has not been the same in the past 2 years.. even people save up for projects, to buy houses, to acquire property, to pay hospital bills and the likes and their monthly expenditure reduces...
after I will upload my friend’s application, the finance side if he grants me permission ... his budget was 420k for 7 days on the grounds of tourism....hostel reservation included . first time applicant... his salary was 180k.. he filled that his monthly expenses was 25k..he is married but no children yet.. and he said he doesn’t have any dependants..
he was granted the visa because he was able to convincingly assure the visa officer on what he was saying..both in the finance section of his visa application and other areas. In a nutshell, examine your circumstances critically... no single month has the same expenses neither is everyone’s circumstance in Nigeria the same and the visa officer knows this. Then i think safety will be to say you will spend 2-3 months of your salary on this holiday after living expenses has been subtracted. 3 months been worst case scenario.
Thats my opinion. I am not an expert..

If you intend travelling to uk in December, 2019... you should only apply 3 months before that is in September 2019... anything earlier than 3 months before intended travel date is not acceptable

When yu say "not acceptable" does it mean you'll be denied if you apply more than 3months bfre yur intended date to travel?

Hello house, pls is it necessary to include tenancy agreement for a visitor visa application? My brother is applying for a visa and in the application checklist, there's a section for 'Home address - documents showing where you live'. He currently shares a flat with his colleague and his name is not on the tenancy agreement. Has anyone successfully gotten visit visa without including tenancy agreement?

Yes he is my sole sponsor.... since I went the unemployed route.

Why would you choose to go the unemployed route? You decided to shoot yourself on the leg abi? Cos thats what it implies. You have your own business but you decided to abandon it. Would advice you wait for anoda one year when ur status would have been better... remember you cannot go back to tell them ur now employed within 1-6 months .... that's deception .

Sorrrrrrrrry.
Reduce your travel days... Add your school results, school fees receipts, school bills and introduction letter to show the visa officer you can not abandon your education to go and stay in the uk... prove to them that you are more ambitious than that..

Attach your mother’s bank statement and/or have her transfer the amount you stated she is contributing to the trip and highlight it in both your statement and that of your mum to show the ECO..

Also 1700 gbp for visit is a lot of money especially for someone been sponsored.. about 820k ... why would ypu want to spend that on a trip when you are not earning.
Then you made so many deposits according to this visa officer, that is always a red flag. They identify it as money lodgement and deny you outrightly as they feel the money in your account is not truly available..

You got oyinbo confused ...
Your mother is sponsoring you and you failed to include her statement of account..... how old are you if I may ask? We need to consider that too. You also included your own fat statement of account when you claimed to be a student in ur application and you never disclosed you got any property or other sources of income. My believe is just that you were over confidente of the fact that you got hug amount in ur account forgetting oyinbo would wsnt to know the source of the funds. At this point , Stick to being student . Give it some time and reapply. Let your mother be your main sponsor... you can move your funds into her account but must be employed too

to help his application if its one of the sections on the online upload page he needs to add it.. let your brother attach (1)the tenancy agreement with (2)a letter from his colleague stating that they are colleagues and equally both bonafide occupants of the house and that they share the accommodation, (3)attaching also any of his colleague’s photo ID and then (4)rent receipts (5) utility bills to further buttress the genuinety of his case

I suggest you upload base on document group, for instance... upload proof of finance separately, as a document, upload proof of employment separately as a document, proof accommodation separately as a document etc like that so that the document upload will NOT be clumsy

2.The sponsor docs does it include those sponsoring u from there and also maybe ur hubby. And are u supposed to add ur main sponsors statement there?

It should include all sponsor/s both ur hubby here and abroad. You can tag the upload sponsor.

Hi Justwise and other members in the house. I intend to travel to the UK with my 3 children only. Age 7, 5 and 2. I am filling my UK visa application form online and I'm confused as regards the question "How much are you planning to spend on your visit to the UK.

Below are my questions

1. Do I need to include the budgeted amount for myself and the kids in my application or Do I need to include just my personal budget since they will have their separate forms.

2. If I am including all our budgeted amount on my application form. What will be the answer of how much are you planning to spend on their separate applications.

Thank you

It is mandatory a figure has to be stated in their application form if I include the budgeted amount for myself and the kids in my application.

Pls help!!!

Accommodation here means where you will be staying in the Uk.
It could be proof of hotel reservation or if somebody is inviting you, then full details of the invite with proof of accommodation of the person in the UK.
