Samuel kalu suffered a heart attack in final training session today, he's currently receiving treatment in a hospital. state of health unknown

It's better he does not take part in this tournament. His life is more precious than this.

He didn't have a heat stroke! Dehydration is easily treated with iv fluid containing electrolytes.
He will be fine. We need him in the team.

Doctors said he was dehydrated. Not heart attack. He is stable now from what I hear.

I hope the weather is not the cause of this? Let dem check well.

Training Report – How Super Eagles Lined Up In Penultimate Training Session Ahead Burundi Clash
June 21, 20190393

Ahead of their first game at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations , the senior national team of Nigeria had their penultimate training session behind close doors to perfect strategies for the game against Burundi.

Owngoalnigeria.com however obtained exclusive details of the training session which lasted for one hour, fifty five minutes and started with the players having their normal drills before engaging each other in a practice game.

Coach Gernot Rohr appears to have made up his mind to have Daniel Akpeyi in goal and a back four of William Troost-Ekong, Leon Balogun, Ola Aina and Jamilu Collins.

In midfield the decision to play either Oghenekaro Etebo or Alex Iwobi with the duo of John Obi Mikel and Wilfred Ndidi appears to be the only decision that is giving the coach a reason to be worried but for now Etebo is‎ ahead.

Below is how the team lined up against each other in yesterday’s practice match ‎which ended in a 2-0 win for the possibles with Odion Ighalo and Ahmed Musa finding the back of the net.

Super Eagles Training – Battle For Who Will Pair Ighalo In Attack Hots Up
June 21, 20190532

Ahmed Musa, Victor Osimhen, Paul Onuachu and Samuel Chukwueze are currently in a battle to pair top striker Odion Ighalo when Nigeria play their first game at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations tomorrow.

Osimhen has impressed with his work ethics off the ball and his skills when on the ball but his main drawback has been his lack of goals in training despite scoring 20 goals in the recent concluded season for modest Belgium side Charleroi.

Onuachu is by far the most potent striker in the camp of the team as he has scored in virtually all of their training sessions but when paired with Ighalo in one of their sessions, the duo found it hard to gel same as when Chukwueze paired the number 9 in training.

Chukwueze played behind Ighalo in the team’s last friendly game against Senegal which they lost 0-1 but to little effect even though he was lively and twice thread passes for Ighalo which he failed to convert. A spot on the wings looks more likely for the Villarreal teen forward.
