Okay, Thank you.. Will they issue the certificate for me instantly after the test, and what are the things will I take along or are they not going to ask for any document apart from the payment slip?
Yes they will issue the certificate after the test , they will tell you what to bring along while coming for the test.

You have to keep calling them to book an appointment for the TB test, they have about 3 numbers. Then they would ask you to pay 54k at standard chartered bank and come with proof of payment alongside international passport. Try and book early because they said if the chest is not clear they have to do another test to confirm and that second test comes out in about 10weeks.
For the Ielts, you can book online via British council website or idp website.. Google them or search for the office address and go there if you are not too clear about booking online.
Thank you so much.. I really appreciate. Is there any validity date for the certificate?

I just stumbled unto this thread for tier visa. I have read from page 1-20 so far. Thus i understood one can only be sponsored by parents or self and no other relatives.
My dad is late and my mum relocated to the states where she got married and changed her name. My step father is willing to sponsor my masters but since we are not same name, I can't use it and my mom has changed surname as well.
Somehow the money can't be deposited in my account. Should I go ahead and fill my step father name or my mother who has changed her name?

Looking forward to reading your inputs. Thanks

I think the only option still remain depositing the funds in your account. Just see how you can remove the embargo preventing that. Except it's that of 'trust'.

Let your full tuition be paid.
And part of the maintenance, the remaining can be deposited into your account which reduces trust issues or source it yourself and deposit, counting your 28days.

The only way that gets you their audience without appointment is telling them you came from a far distance and make sure you do not wipe evidence of your attempted calls to them.
Yes, I have seen them attend to people from outside Lagos without prior appointment but please get there early, they start out pretty early.
I know they respond faster to mails than calls but this no reply to mails or call is out of it.
If you want to take the risk ,its worth it.

Hi everyone. Please am I permitted to work as a teacher in UK on tier 4 student visa? I am a registered Physics and Mathematics Teacher in Nigeria with the Teachers Registration council of Nigeria (TRCN). I have fulfilled the mandatory requirement of becoming a registered Teacher in
UK (scotland) via this link ( https://www.gtcs.org.uk/registration/qualified_uk_row-checklist.aspx ), paid and got my UK statement of comparability from UKNARIC (https://uknaric.org/) and registered with the General Teaching council for scotland (GTCS) but waiting for the final certificate from GTCS. Some people are saying I am not legally permitted to work as a teacher even with GTCS certificate because I am on student visa. Please I need your input. Thank you

It’s a good thing you have done the certification.
Questions:
You get a teaching job in a 7am - 3pm school (Mon - Friday) in term time.
When will you attend your own lectures? Saturdays and Sundays?

Have you modified your 20 hour per week work time? Or you hope to teach for only 20 hours per week in a school?

This very one is for tier-4 PBS students. Unless of course, you want to get someone telling you that IELTS is waste of money.

Hello all. Pls I am a graduate but because my result was poor in 2017 I applied and got admission to study a similar course in Derby. Visa refused based on credibility, they didn't think in was a genuine student and they said I have a job and a good salary so no way of justifying the expense.
Now I want to go for a masters, i also have a second degree now. What are my chances, will the earlier refusal affect this one, do I apply with the result I had in 2017 or with the new one or both. Also will Super priority Visa help. Thanks

You have 2 Bachelors (aka First Degree)?

I ask because some people actually do erroneously refer to a Masters as ‘second degree ‘

If you have 2 first degrees and want to go to the UK for a Masters, it’s fine. So far as you can justify that it’s career progression.

As to which result to apply with, its ENTIRELY your choice and ENTIRELY dependent on meeting the requirements of the prospective school.

As for SUPER- Priority, I have been on this thread long enough to deduce that a lot of folks think going that route saves them from having an interview (I actually don’t know why the word Interview scares Shit out of some people).
If you have money to waste, you may go for super Priority. No guarantees though.
Plus, if you have had a previous denial, the UKVI website advices you to go for standard or so.
Entirely up to you.

Thanks bro. I am on long vacation at my Uni here from may till september so I can work for full time. I am working as a private home tutor with a tutoring agency here and they also assisted with the GCTS certification. The plan is to be a Physics supply teacher to school and be on 20 hours contract as from september 2019. But my people are saying its against the immigration law to work as a Teacher.

Your "people" are wrong lol.

Restricted work usually applies to no employment as a doctor or dentist.

Your plan works out when you get the role. All the best smiley

Actually, there is no such thing as a 6-month student visa.
Probably short -term (study) visa.
I got such in 2015 for a 1 month training.
I got bother in 2016 for a 3-month Training.

If you want good info, you need to State the precise situation.

One thing I can tell you, even without knowing details of your circumstances is that you will need to meet up with the criteria for a STANDARD VISITOR VISA.

If you may, then ask precise questions and you will get folks with precise answers.
All the best mate.

What your people are saying is true. I am certain you cannot work with 6 months short term student visa except you want to apply for tier 2 which I think is better especially because they claim there is a shortage in STEM subjects in teaching. As for your qualification, you can ring agencies in the UK and ask if it is possible. I hope this helps.
