If you have job-hunted for some time in a way that you have sent out cv's and filled applications to different bodies, how many of them actually get back to you with regret mails?

Haven't you seen clauses in recruitment where they stated "ONLY SHORTLISTED CANDIDATES WILL BE CONTACTED"? The DPR can simply say they contacted only the candidates best suited for the job and that will shoot down whatever protest you and your friends want to put out.

So please, you're NOT entitled to know the outcome of a body's own recruitment and neither is it your right.

You are very correct but it was equally on the portal that it will only be the means of communication to applicants. I'm pretty sure that using same portal to send regret mails isn't too difficult

People want to protest on just on the basis that they applied or just on emotions and nothing more no fact nor figure! and coupled with the fact that there have been a released list already where people have resumed already...

But it would have made a very big sense if we have a substantial and substantive proof to back up the protest...

All these ones guys are saying about 2012 DPR recruitment and Immigration in those cases no single list was released nor anyone called to resume...

But in this case list have been released people have being issued application letter and have resumed...

So the only justification for any meaningful protest now is a concrete evidence that the numbers haven't been filled or that federal character was damaged or something else...

Thank you so much. I never expected everyone to be on same page with my suggestion. But the truth is, DPR will definitely say something about the recruitment. It's not a do or die affair to get this job but let the right thing be done first. I am equally a civil servant if you must know on level 09. Nigeria is a a madhouse tbh. So people who have already been considered successful will be replaced to be given a shot in an entirely new recruitment where the cabal will likely want to get most of their candidates in yet again. Sigh

some of us had agreed to at least let our voices be heard if June ends without any positive outcome.
Unknownuser also says he has some sort of proof with regards the resumption in July, which i think will be very helpful. But in all, we must make sure everything is done in unison. That will be the key to how impactful whatever we choose to do will be.

Those who believe that recruitment is over are fighting over stopping a protest action. How does it concern them?

when 2016 recruitment is heading to 2020 with even the aim of conducting another recruitment. We called DPR on air (DPR half hour) radio Nigeria program, we were told to constantly check our portal for update. Up til now nothing show up.

how happy would i Gilbertase have been if majority had united months ago to do this, esp when notindome and brocksamson were making bold moves...anyways past is past. I sincerely hope everything works out in some way. I just want a better naija where merit has the correct definition. God bless!

If u have been promised a slot why can't u leave the people to protest may be it will be an avenue through which ur slot will come out including the remaining hopefuls?

My info was accurate. This wasn't the initial plan for him, he was surprised too. The plans changed that's why Molo was appointed. However, bigger plans for him just watch.

To my own understanding xtruzz has failed woefully in her own predictions. She decided to divert out attention thereby making another unforgettable prediction.
