OK, I'll consider this. Thanks a lot
My own payment too didn't reflect until after like 5hrs.....so if your own stayed this long I'm not sure the person paid......and the fee would be $350 by tomorrow.

Let me link your case with this- If anyone has their visas approved for Lincoln University and after the interview, they got a better offer from let's say Gatech, it's always advisable to reapply for a new F1 visa. So, in your case, if you want to pick an OPT option later in the future, it's advisable that you reapply for the visa. I hope you find this helpful.
Thank you Master John

You shouldn't have come back home unless finance was the issue. You should have continued, get admit from the new schools then ask the school to transfer your sevis record. Right now, can you still resume in the old school since your visa is still active? If not, you have to attend a new interview and explain to the V.O so you don't have issues at point of entry

I just didn't want to waste time and money on a course I was no longer interested in and a school that couldn't do for me, what I wanted. I admit the decision might have been hasty on my part, but it has already happened. It's way forward I'm looking for now.

Thank you for the suggestion. I'll go and prepare for a new interview.

Normally...you can transfer your SEVIS details to the new school to be able to legally enter the US with your F1, except....

Thank you. This is very helpful.

Congratulations in advance

One of the reasons I made that earlier post. They go straight for the jugular. Overexposure is bad.

Very rude post. If you cannot give advice, don't quote. I asked a simple question and you took it to another dimension. Not everyone is a crook dude. How will I take it without his permission when I don't live him, the tax clearance is in his house and I don't live with him. I stay in Lagos, he is rivers and I haven't been to his house since 2017, that was when I stumbled on it. He is my very close uncle but likes to keep the details of his finances private. I am asking here to know if I should bother to ask him for it.
Your initial post didn't seem like you were looking for permission to ask for the tax clearance.
Moreover, Lagosismyhome isn't a male but a female one of our very own Mama. You sounded rude and I advise you apologise.

Thank you for your input. I logged in with the same details yesterday with no issues and I’ve been trying every other thing. Someone above mentioned they’re having the same issue so I think I’ll contact CGI. Thanks

How often did you log in yesterday. Frequently logging in can cause it. So give it a rest for a day and log in again. It happen to me a while ago.

Flesh and blood did not reveal this to you. I contacted him to see if he could recommend one or two skls that can fund my program(I applied this fall to several skls, but got admits without funding), surprisingly he requested 80k from me.

It was then I realized, though there are lots of people on this thread that are genuinely helping people--selflessly I must say-- but one or two people are here to make there presence known, so as to get there potential "customers". A sorts of business strategy.

Only immature minds throw tantrums when having discussions.
To answer your question yes, the apology would be shameless because you didn't learn from your earlier mistake.

Re: General USA Student Visa Enquiries-part 15 by fairheart(m): 9:01pm On Jun 23, 2019
Sometimes last month or so, I posted here that if you are offered scholarship, you should go with the document. All the documents you should have gone to the interview with are listed. Sometimes, lack of homework is what causes the refusals I have seen here. Given the rate at which many students obtain GA, GRA, GTA, etc, I am thinking they are starting to think about scrutinizing the source of the award. And should you not be able to give them a prove, they become uncomfortable.

Do you have the GRA offer letter? If not, contact your school and let them understand you have been refused as you could not show the prove of your award.

Make sure you have all the basic and required document with you. Sevis Fee confirmation receipt, GTB visa fee receipt, I-20 (signed), appointment confirmation, DS160 confirmation, 2 passport photograph of the same you uploaded online, scholarship letter, sponsor official bank statement.

If this visa matters, go back.
