Has anyone here ever applied for study permit from a third country? I'm Nigerian obviously, I school in the UK and would be graduating soon. I got admitted to SAIT Calgary & would be applying for study permit from the UK. Anyone done this before? |

Good day house, Gurus I'll need ur guidance on this. I got my medical request mail 2weeks ago, and last week Wednesday i conducted my medical request in IOM Abuja, on Saturday my CIC acct was updated to 'Medical Passed'. Hopefully am anticipating a passport request, so do i just chill and wait or i should send a mail (via cic) to remind them that am awaiting a passport submission request ? |

waynee2baba:A guy had a case similar to yours in part 14 or 15: go ahead with the application, the good thing is that you don't need Biometric from the UK, so, you can definitely apply from a foreign land but your passport submission will be in Nigeria, therefore, you will eventually touch your home country soil. |

Shadypoza01:It's not too late sir, however, you may give it a try, but I will suggest you hold on, it will definitely end in praise! |

Good day ladies and Gent. You people are really doing a good job here. My cousin brother who is very active in the US thread directed me to this thread to seek for urgent help. I applied for a study visa on March 26th with an upfront medicals. My upfront medicals was updated to pass on May 15th. I received passport request on May 21st. I submitted my passport on a Friday being May24th. Ever since then I haven’t heard from cic why the delay not until June 21st they contacted me about a fraudulent bank statement I used for my application. I have been given 10days to respond. Please what can I do, this is my 4th day and the time is fast ticking, I need help. I don’t want to be banned, I have even broadcasted about my traveling. This shame is gonna be too much on me. Has anyone ever excaped this issue before? Please gurus and non gurus your advice would be highly appreciated. Thanks @Frankrobbn1 @Qudom @Justmellow etc |

SOPWriter:He needs biometrics. He can submit his passport in any country in the world provided the VFS In that country offer such services. He can submit in UK, USA, Nigeria and other countries. The only thing he will not do is Medicals. |

waynee2baba:I applied last year in London, UK and I got my visa. It is faster and better applying from London. Make sure you have all your documents complete. All the best. |

Naijaforeigner:Oh, yes. That's very correct. I mistook Biometric for medical. Funny enough, you were the one I was referring to. It's been a while, so, I forgot somethings, even your Monika. I'm glad to know you are still here. |

SOPWriter:Boss, I am still here. Good to still have you here as well. You are doing a great job. |

Did you do the whole process in the UK as well? Including biometrics and medicals. Would I need to come back home at any point? Naijaforeigner: |

There is no specific time frame of ppr after Medical passed.. Some have gotten it days after Medical passed, some got it weeks and some got it months aftee.. So I will advise you still chill, if after 2 or 3 weeks u dnt hear from them, then u can start shooting ur shots at CIC.. Peace Shadypoza01: |

Be honest with ursef, did u submit any fraudulent bank statements, if yes, then I must tell u dt it will be difficult escaping the ban except a miracle happens.. Buh if u are sure ur bank Statements are genuine, then u have nothing to worry abojt.. Just go to ur bank and do the needful.. Peace CharlesRay1990: |

I have observe something of recent on this thread, especially with peeps that have gotten Passport request.. Of recent Peeps that have waited for over a month for them to get their Passporf back from the embassy stand a high risk of getting a notification of fraudulent bank statement or fake Employment.. So the prayer everyone dt gets PPR is for them to get their passports back within 2 weeks of submitting cos the longer ur Passports stays with them the more risky it is for the applicants.. Just my personal observation tho, nt saying it is entirely true.... I pray all those that have gotten PPR will surely get their Visas.... Peace |

waynee2baba:You will do everything there In UK. I hope you still have time left on your BRP? In my case, I had to submit my passport in Nigeria because when my passport request dropped, I had just 2 days left to stay in UK. If you still have lots of time on your BRP, you will do everything in UK. |

Not compulsory... we have seen many applicants here getting their visas without submitting any sibling documents ... Peace TheInvestor: |

Yeah I've got enough time. My BRP expires in October and the processing time for study permit in the UK is 3 weeks. Naijaforeigner: |
