Why Are We Here In This World? My Musings. by partnerbizz5(f): 2:43pm On Jun 27, 2019
Growing up, I often wondered what the purpose of existence was.

I was curious. I wanted to know why we are here in this world. What the grand design or purpose is. How life began.
I struggled to appreciate the big bang vis a vis the genesis story.

'God created us to know him, love him, worship him, and to live with him for ever in heaven'.
So we were taught in the catholic catechism as teenagers.

The whole enchilada made little or no sense to me, as I reached majority nay became an adult.

Could there really be God? Or could it be he exists but the bible or history misrepresented him?

But then I couldn't reconcile his existence --coupled with epithets such as omnipotence, omniscient and omnipresent-- with the realities and happenings in the world.
How can such a God allow evil especially when it happens to good people?

How could he have allowed Hitler kill over 6 million Jews? How could he have allowed the Rwanda genocide.

The answer I got was that evil came from our free will.
Okay, whose free will was it that inflicted a toddler with celebral palsy or a hole in the heart?
What about the hurricanes?

Others add that God knows the best as he could have a reason for allowing evil.

The answers were at best unsatisfactory and at worst puerile.

Theodicy, the conundrum is called.

At different times in search for meaning, I oscillated from theism to deism, to humanism. I was confused.

Is it better not to have been born at all, like Prof. Benatar thinks?

Is there an afterlife?

What's really the grand purpose of our sojourn in this world?

Is it to wake up, eat, grow, go to school, work, marry, give birth, die?

The cycle continues?

Note:I left so many things especially arguments and varying opinions so as to not make this long winded or verbose.

The mystery of why we are here in this life is one that may never be solved until we get to the afterlife, if there's any.

when we die, our souls are reincarnated into a new body. The catch here is the memory of our past life is wiped clean.

There are many creatures in creation. Humans are but one specie. All have their purpose in the realm where they belong.. Over the course of our existense on earth.... Several teaching has been passed down to earthmen through inwardly - spiritually developed men of those time from above... But earthmen usually distort the messages out of spiritual indolence... Just like they did to that of Jesus, Mohammed, Bhuda, Zoroaster, Laotse and other forerunners... They prefer to hear concepts like "forgiveness" and how important they are to God that he sacrificed his son for them. But at last.. He who will make heaven must live his life in accord with the will of God cos the Laws of God cannot bend for humans. No one needs to be taught what to do to make heaven.. U know what is right. Do only what is right. Jesus christ reduced d 10 commandment to 1 - Love your neighbour as your self... All u need ios to live your life this way.. Do No evil.. This earth was not intended in the begining.. But due to circumstance(Which I cannot explain today), We needed to come down to this physical world to develop... The development has been accomplioshed a long time ago but sin has been holding us back. The physical world consist of many realm in which the world u know is a part... Other realm very close to this world is called the "astral plane". Some earthmen who practice soul travel do visit this plane and its well known to them. When a man dies - He does not cease to exist.. Its only a mere transition from one realm of existence to the other. Our final destination is a spiritual real often called heaven. Its a long way from here... Earthmen have been finding it difficult to go beyond the etherial world due to sin.. You must face the consequences of all your sins - Only then can u be said to be free(and that is salvation).. That is the law of karma. Even Jesus cannot save u... Cos Jesus is the part of God that represent love and there is no love without justice. Thats is why the trinity is actually 1. They are intertwined... There's no love without justice.. Imagine a king who kills someone else for the crime someone else commited.. Is that just? Why do u then attribte that to God(that he sacrificed his son for u... and u call it love... Its stupidity). Humans have been reincarnating only to burden themselves with more sin.... But the cycles are already closing.. The endtime is evidently here and all those who have not redeemed themsleves and thus accend out of the material world(the etherial realm inclusive) by the time the destruction starts will not survive the impact. Free yourself from all sin today.. Its d only way.. Forgiveness of sin is when u have face the consequence.. So the moment u stop commiting sin, u can start expecting the consequence of your last sin- Only then can u be free. For those who will say what is sin.. Whatever u are about to do or say or think... Be sure that it will never affect anyone negatively.. Do good alone

Everything about u people revolve around religion... When someone asks a question about creation, spiritulity or God. The first thing that comes to your mind is religion... Imagine your question - RELIGION. Is it religion that will take u to the luminous home? If u are confused .. Read that message carefully 10 times. Then ask me parts u dont understand... I dont expect u to understand after reading it once though, cos I tried to explain alot with few sentences. But leave religion out of these.

I have no recollection of things before my existence...
How then should I take seriously of some paradise after my time here?
One time, I came to be and the next I will cease to exist.
I have only one duty..
To live my life to the fullest..

U do not cease to exist... You are a spiritual being.. The physical body with u is just a cloak u need to function in this physical world.. U cant even take that body to the astral plane which is the plane closest to this world... Hence u have to shed the cloak.. Thats what earthmen know as death... U only leave the physical body aside and continue your sojourn in creation. Its a mere transition from one plane of existence to the other

Re: Why Are We Here In This World? My Musings. by enuk80(m): 4:44pm On Jun 27, 2019
Human are spiritual being. We are been clone by the physical being because we are living in the world. When a man dies, he becomes a spiritual being. A classic example is when we go to sleep at night, our spiritual body leaves our physical body and we wander in the spiritual world...

I got more confuse each time I think about the existence of man and how God came into existence. There are so many unanswered questions about : who we are? Where are will coming from? Where are we going through? What is our purpose on earth? Why are we created? ( **the catechism of the Catholic Church said...to know him, to serve him, to worship him etc) but I think it goes beyond that.. If those answers by the church is true, why is there sin? Are we to blame for the sins of the world? Who permitted those sins? There are so many philosophical questions that need answers and no one is yet to convince me.

I need someone to throw more insight to the aforementioned questions I raised above.

As a decent, rational human being, these sort of questions pops up in your mind once in a while. In my own case, it pops up almost everytime a tragedy occurs.

The problem is sheeples have been brainwashed never to think like this. They are so scared to ask such questions. In fact, they antagonize you when you try to be rational by asking all these sort of questions. I'm not an atheist, but I don't believe everything written in the Bible, I don't just! I think I'm more of a deist.
I believe God exists, but his influence on things and the earth is what I doubt.
The truth is, there are certain things that happen in this world that doesn't just feel right. And the normal answer of God knows best is no longer convincing.

In the Bible, people didn't die until they were old. Some died in battle fields and others were murdered by their enemies.

These days, there are just over 1000 ways to die, and the children of God are not spared either. And when you try to ask why these things are like this, they say God knows best. We all know he knows best but at least he should just clear our doubts a little bit by telling us why some things are the way they are. When you insist on knowing why, they threaten you with hell fire, which of course is scary.
So, what do we do about that?

Na to keep quiet na

I find it hard to tell people am a diest.i was born a muslim, but i grew up attending a school with strict christianity value.where i had to attend church and all sort.i realised religion are just there to outdo each other.no one has an understanding of how God really react,or it modus operandi.i tell people God exist, and if heaven truly exist,i won't be jugde by what's written in the holy books.the world to me is like a script written by it creator, where everyone is just playing it role assigned to him/her.if heaven truly exist,is either everyone makes it or everyone ends up in hell

When did he/she became a spiritual being?

We know that, flesh begat flesh and our parents can not begat a spiritual being; at best they begat a physical being, flesh and blood like themselves.

That open the possibility that, from the Bible’s perspective, we must have been begotten spiritually by God at creation, when He breath into Adam our first father.

If that is the case, it means that we have existed albeit spiritually before we became flesh and born through our parents.

If the above is true and that, we are spirit beings who predate our earthly bodies and will outlive their expiration; isn’t also true to say that; since we do not have a recollection of our consciousness when we were without flesh and body (ie before birth), we will also loss all consciousness/awareness that, we currently have, when the flesh and blood expires and is no more?

Our existence and GOD is deep and deeper than what we can reason,if we look too much for answers about all these things, we may end up running mad, how do we explain how we get to sleep and start another journey in another realm? Our souls leave our physical bodies, transcend into another world where we may find ourselves in the past, future or where we can't describe, what about the life events that is full of puzzles? Some says our existence has been scripted and every events is playing out according to the script! What about the reincarnation stories, someone died here,he/she is seen in another place, how do we also get to see dead families and friends in our dreams? What about the feeling of familiarity and connection we get on meeting some people for the first time? What of the feeling of loving some on the first meeting and not wanting to get close to others on first meeting even when they are not bad?some times I question myself on who I am! I could go on and on cause I started this questioning since I was little and I had to stop as I grow older cause I don't want to run mad,I am a Christian and I don't see the consciousness of all these questions as not believing in GOD,some of us think deeply.
