Musa is 26 and already have 81 caps ,musa will have about 120 caps at least at age 30

Mikel would have over a hundred cap for the SE by now.. But we missed three AFCON in 7 years..Mikel also missed 2010 world cup due to injury.. add to the AFCONQ games he missed plus others....

musa is one of the players playing with something close to their real age. i once had girlfriend who grew up with musa in jos back then. she said knows musa very very well and was the one who first brought it to my notice that musa's mum is from edo. the chic was a tom boy when she was younger and played street football with musa back in the days in jos.

she said at a very young age musa do sneak out of the house to play football which was against his mum's wish and as usual do receive enough beating when he returns home lol. she said in her neighborhood then musa was known as "ahmadu"

Danielnino00:

Even if Musa is using football age,he can't be more than 30...

The older you grow, the weaker part of ur body becomes...

U can't be 30+ and run the way Musa does.. especially not under a 30°c+ weather...

Even Messi and Ronaldo who are in their 30s don't run like that...

Musa still got long life in the SE...He has been here since 2010 ..I see him setting the super eagles all time record appearance

23 year olds play in the Uefa U-21 Euros also not to mention 22 year olds. He was just not selected. Period.

komekn:

Tega is too old he hit 22 in April so he is ready and willing to play for the SE.

In my opinion he is better than Eze although he needs an uninterrupted full season of competitive first team football. Either in the EPL or the Championship.

Over a Hundred caps? Over just a hundred? Let me break it down for you a bit more Sir Dan..

Afcon 2019 would have been Mikel's 8th Afcon tournament had we qualified for the 2012, 2015, and 2017 editions. This is only Mikel's fifth after playing in 2006, 2008, 2010, 2013 and now in this beautiful ongoing tournament.

Each Afcon Nigeria almost always reaches the semis.... That's a minimum of six games to be played (third place or final included).

To be honest... Mikel would have been rivalling some Nigerian Greats in terms of Afcon appearances and Afcon tournaments appeared in. We could have been talking over 120 caps for Mikel pooling everything together(Afcon misses, WC misses, Friendly he dodged etc) but shaa.... Circumstances na wa.

Such is life sometimes. sad

Marco Ilaimaharitra of Madagascar (and I think Charleroi) scores a direct free kick.. First of the tournament.. Bravo!

Nairalandankrah but you said Burundi will THRASH Madagascar? And I remember saying Burundi may lose. See what I'm seeing.

Madagascar 1 - 0 Burundi. 82 minutes.

I will make bold and say we will not win against Madagascar

0-0 my predictions

Many changes to the lineup, less desire to win coupled with the Madagascan resolute defence will make for a barren draw

Very very unlikely. I'll be here of course to remind you.

If we also add the games he missed in the SE because he was forming boss while at Chelsea, it should be close to 120 caps already grin ...

I'm tipping Musa to break that record.....

Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Belgian First Division A side Racing Genk are on the verge of announcing the signing of Nigeria international Stephen Odey.

The FC Zurich striker has arrived in Belgium to undergo a medical with the Belgian champions and they are planning to unveil him as a new player of Racing Genk as from tomorrow if he passes his medical.

At least four clubs were interested in signing the former Mountain of Fire FC star but Genk is where is heart is as he is keen on playing in the Champions League next season.

Odey has agreed personal terms with Racing Genk, paving the way for him to undergo a medical with the club.

The 21-year-old started his career as a right winger but eventually ended up being a striker due to his goalscoring qualities, and is blessed with both power and pace, and has the ability to shoot.

Last season, Odey scored 15 goals in 45 appearances across all competitions for FC Zurich and set up three goals.
Straight outta NPFL

Yes but no matter how consistent he might be, he wont even come close to musa in terms of appearance

Lol.... You are right. And yes Ahmed Musa shoukd shatter it abeg and hold it undisputably. Dude is already on 82 caps at age 26 (will be 27 later this year shaa).

People who doubt Musa's age probably didn't do biology and health science in second set school grin ..Or they know little about the human anatomy grin .. the guy sabi run eh...if only his end products were better..

But on a serious note, who do you think is currently the faster player in the SE? Especially with the ball....

Stephen Odey to KRC Genk plus the exposure to UCL football in 2019/2020 is surely a climb up the ladder for the young lad.

And it all began from MFM FC, Lagos in the NPFL.... Chaaiiii... Where is Bascovanveli when you need him? Food is ready marvellous basco grin

So Nigeria and Madagascar will be fighting for the top spot on Sunday

We have got a big fight on our hand folks.

I doubt if Rohr will rest many players now. finishing top of d group means we meet a weaker opponent in R16.

I dare you to stake all your winnings on Nigeria drawing 0-0 with Madagascar..

Post the bet ticket here....If u can't do that, then we might put u in the same place as darlelf, humility017 and Gustav25 ...

you're not well at all.
so in your eyes.... I am in same level with Gustav and Darkeff who believe that the super eagles can never make anything good out of every match.

I have asked this question before naa ... I mentioned Kalu and Musa... Chukwueze was not in the equation then. wink

But I still believe the fastest now is Musa. Bloody ligthening he is. Either with the ball or without it.

He won't still be this fast if he wasn't around that age

Linford Christie won gold at 32 in the Olympics and competed at 38 in the 1994 Olympics.

Carl Lewis competed at 35.

So your proposition is without any substance.
