If you've been banned (I really hope not) then you won't be able to book appointment for the next 6 months.
If your passport has 6 months or less validity then you can apply for a new passport and use it to book your appointment.

HighPriest0:

Would it be possible to book another appointment successfully if my passport number has been banned?
Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 6 by Yomodun: 7:44pm On Jun 29, 2019
I know. What I'm trying to point out is if he got the scholarship or funding himself to know how soon he will get a date especially if he has scholarship
chiboy429:

Erasmus is normally a scholarship program although there are exceptions which would be stated on the program that doesn't have full or partial or no funding

Hello gurus in the house and those that just went for their interview I need your help on this question. I was born in the 80s and I have a birth certificate from the Lagos state government and my cousin said I can go with that to the interview but what I saw on the checklist the birth certificate must be from either the national population commission NPC or age declaration, am I right? Please can Anybody help clarify this......
Secondly if it is mandatory to get a declaration of age, do anyone know where I can get it done in Lagos and collect it same day? Please help a brother
Thank God you said "but what I saw in the checklist"

Bro, don't Goan cause wahala for yourself ehn. Just follow what the checklist says. Get the declaration from Ikeja high court as someone had earlier described and take it for your interview smiley
God's speed

I don't really know exactly how the ban works, but I do not think a ban would prevent you from filling the appointment booking form. You, however, may not get an appointment date after.

Just opened my blocked account so that's sorted out, Now I want to know if I have to fill and submit the visa application form online before arranging an interview date (I was told the form can be filled and submitted online), or do I print out the form, fill it up and then take it along on the interview date?
Though your question is not too clear to me.. but let me analyse

I believe you have an Admission letter now, and you have opened a blocked account.
Next thing is to book for an interview appointment by visiting this link

https://service2.diplo.de/rktermin/extern/choose_categoryList.do?locationCode=lago&realmId=347

If you're going for Masters or BSc, and you have a bachelor degree with grade between first class and second class lower, click on Category A and fill in your details.
If you have a third class BSc Certificate, book category B.
You will receive a confirmation email. Then you'll await your appointment date, which will be mailed to you.

The next thing is to start getting your documents ready, according to the checklist.

Follow this link
https://nigeria.diplo.de/ng-en/service/visa/student-research-and-language-course-visa/1015536

Towards the bottom of the page, you'll find the visa application form, the declaration bla bla, As well as the checklist of documents. Download the three of them.
You can fill the visa application form on your computer /phone and print out two copies. Everything you'll need is on the checklist.

Good luck.

Then cancel and rebook. The embassy will soon stop giving dates for winter, no time to waste time.

Just believe everything will surely work out for your good. Be patient since there are others that are ahead of you.
I think they have run out of dates or have hit their limit as someone pointed out.
Just be hopeful

Transcript of my interview yesterday 28th June, 2019.

I got to the Embassy by 6.20am for my 7am slot and immediately had my appointment print out stamped. Then I joined a queue. When they were ready to attend to us, they decided to start with short stay candidates first.

After about 1hr 30 mins of waiting, they started attending to Student Visa people. So we left the queue outside and joined the queue on the wooden platform with seats.

Then Paulinus came and started asking us to arrange our documents in a certain order. I don’t recall the exact order but these were the documents he asked for.

2 Application for Visa forms placed face down
2 signed declaration forms on top of them
2 photocopies of your passport data page next.
2 photocopies of your FSLC next with your original placed separately (I didn’t have this and I asked here a few days ago. When I told him that I didn’t have it, he asked me to move on to the next document)
2 photocopies of an old document eg old library card, baptismal certificate etc (at least over 5years old) to verify your age next with the original placed on the FSLC
WAEC or NECO photocopies then their originals on their respective piles
University degree next,
NYSC,
Admission letter (one translation before the other)
Hand written letter of Motivation next,
Curriculum Vitae,
Blocked Account document next
Then any other supporting document you have. One original and 2 photocopies each.

He then pinned the 3 piles of documents together, sighted our visa fees, gave us a gate pass and sent us in.

When I got to the VO, she didn’t ask me a lot of questions.

What did you study as an undergraduate?
Why are you going for this course?
What was your undergraduate project topic?
Why do you want to study in Germany?
What do you know about the Politics in Germany?
Have you applied for a visa before either to Germany or any other country?
Have you blocked funds in your blocked account?
What do you plan to do after your studies?

I wish everyone good luck with their AL, BA, SL and AM. We’ll all meet in Deutschland.
Excuse me country cousin. What is FSLC? Asking on behalf of people that do not know.

I am a prospective postgraduate student of the university of Bremen Germany, I got admission to study Msc environmental physics, my problem now is I can't book appointment for interview because of passport which I applied for some weeks now at the asaba NIS office, I have done the necessary documentation and capturing yet they are telling me there is no booklet to produce the passport,. I even tried to rub their hands maturedly yet the PCO insists that he understands my situation but can't help.
