You can start with 100k

Sure, you can...

First option: Download your the sterling bank invest app, fund your wallet and you are good to go.

OR

Second option: visit any sterling bank branch, tell the customer care officer that you want to do treasury bills and they will assist you.

I know that you can invest as low as 100k (for sterling bank).
Some banks (e.g Zenith bank) insist that you must have 1M to do treasury bills.

This vessel and barge are for sell

Name: MT GODSHAND
weight: 12000t
Location: Lagos waters
Price: 3.5m dollars net to owner plus 5 percent to facilitators

Weight: 7900 tonne barge
Name: RTC 90
price: 130m
Location: lagos

Call me on 08170496387
This is not how you put advertisements for a barge.
You have to indicate the principal dimensions of the barge, grt and nt, the deadweight, light weight, the draft and what type of barge, then you can put ur price tag.
Thanks, I am a naval architect, if you need my service.

Please I think you're the only person that can answer my question since no one have ever respond to it
Do you have any idea about how to in treasury bill abroad like turkey or USA or Europe cause they have better rates than nigeria even after taxes but nobody here is even talking about it
Like the procedures and how to get your money back after maturity
I'm well aware of the risk and stuffs but there's no guide on investment from nigeria in these foreign countries and forget those trading scam apps I've tried few and they almost made me cry so I don't want to use it again
I was thinking about getting a visa and going to turkey myself or egypt to inquire but I don't know if you guys have a knowledge about it and we can all help each other
Please anyone with anything that can help should share
Thanks
Treasury bills are government issued bonds, so you will need to get it from their central bank or a commercial bank where you have your funds already domiciled.
To purchase TB from the Turkish government you need to have your funds already domiciled in a Turkish bank or enter the country with it to commence the process. But entering a foreign country with huge funds will require you scaling some money laundering tracking.
Forget any online site offering you TB. Though some investment sites offering various portfolios may ask you to chose where you want your fund invested. But of course you will never receive a certificate in your name.
Also it is important to note that the offer rate of any TB is a function of the stability of the country's currency and inflation index. That is why USA, Britain and other developed economies have the lowest TB rate.
If you invest in Turkey, you need to consider the exchange rate stability too and couple of other things.

Good day fellow investors. It seems West Africa is really serious about rolling out a regional currency from January 2020, I thought they have been joking Ohhhh. How is this new currency (ECO) going to affect treasury bills and other investments in Nigeria? Gurus in the house should educate us on this.

It's at dot ng (.ng)

I don't think it's fully functional yet though. Access is offering a little over 11.25 for their 3 months tenor on the secondary market. The plan is to be able to see the rates directly on that portal.

Heard it on BBC. It only favours Nigeria as the largest economy.

When is the next primary auction date of NTB?
Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by Jesusbabygirl(f): 11:35pm On Jun 30, 2019
ahiboilandgas:
it depend on interest rates ,if u live in america where interest is 0.1 percent on loans and tb in Nigeria is 13 ....why not

But if u collect loan at 23 percent then place in tb 12 percent u have a loss of 11 percent
Interest rate in the US is NOT 0.1% o biko. Of course, it is lower than it is in Nigeria but there is also exchange rate risk. Borrowing in one currency and investing in another could pay off but you need serious monitoring.

Just in case we don't have any Fidelity account owners here who have recent Primary market auction experience, below we have detailed how Fidelity's 27th June secondary market compares:

On 27th June, Fidelity had the 2nd best secondary market rate that we know of (after I-Invest app) for treasury bills close to 182 days. This was 11.65% for 175 days.

However, it had one of the lower rates for tenors close to 91 days; 9.5% for 84 days.

I was amazed at their secondary rates too as at last week, however funds were not liquid then, else I would have locked in.
Is it likely for rates to gain for this Wednesday's auction?
