Iwobi is competing against Ozil, Mkhitaryan Aubamayeng and Ramsey outwide and in the middle. Let's not pretend like he wasn't great at the first half of last season.

You're using Tau bossing the Belgian second division as a means to prove he's better than Iwobi when Onyekuru, Moses Simon and Osimhen have done the same at the FIRST division?

You probably only come here to troll because if you've gone through this thread - you'd see that Akpeyi isn't rated that highly and it's a common consensus that goal keeping is where we need to work on. If Ikeme didn't retire - Akpeyi wouldn't be first choice. He was 3rd choice at the world cup and is only starting because Ezenwa is injured.

This isn't the 2000s fella. The PSL is weak and I dare you to name 5 players apart from Serero and Mothiba to a certain extent who have gone straight from the PSL to boss a top 10 league in europe? Didn't Ekisten Pule just move to Azerbaijan? Are you trying to say Azerbaijan pays more? Why didn't he move to England like Mabiziela did back in the day? Andile Jali went from being a big dog in pirates and couldn't perform that well in Belgium.
The only player I can agree that could've moved from the PSL but didn't because of pay and his club fucking him over in the last decade was Teko Modise.

Iwobi is two years younger than Tau and is playing at the highest level.
Nope I'm using Tau' s impact on the SA national team vis-a vis your own Iwobi who's always missing on your national games and is nowhere to be seen at Arsenal. Dude is mad overrated and average and that's how I see it, I don't get why I'm vilified for a having a different opinion. Whether Moses or whoever played in Belgium and performed is irrelevant, I'm comparing the two players' ability.

Ekstein chose to play in Azerbaijan because he wanted to, duh!! I'm simply stating that South African players are very choosy where the play in general, maybe they are spoilt I don't know but it's a fact.

Whether Akpeyi is highly related or not it's irrelevant he's still your number one in a major tournament, you are still the ' mighty super eagles" with a whole population playing in Europe aren't you?lol. You shouldn't struggle to replace Ikeme then but alas you chose a South African based player. He's also not rated this side as well btw. Yes, iwobi plays for Arsenal and is two years younger than Tau but didn't he moved there when he was four? Come on now.

Yeah it was so much of a disaster he scored 14 goals in his first season as a pro and had the best goals per minute ratio in the epl for 2 years before he got overtaken.
Name one South African striker that has gone to a team as big as City and made such an impact?

Ekisten chose to play in Azerbaijan because he didn't get offers from teams in the top 10 league.
Iwobi is not overrated. He is inconsistent yes but still a better player than Tau.
Iwobi moved to Arsenal when he was 4 - so what?? Are you saying all academy players automatically get a pass to Arsenal's first team?? Why did he break into the team before the other youth players if he was mad overrated like you say?
Why were the likes of Barca interested in him when he first broke through? Why did Lazio bid 25m for him if he's as overrated as you say?
Akpeyi is thrash and plays in the PSL which is meant to be a strong league according to you but we still don't rate him.
Yes the mighty Super Eagles is struggling to replace Ikeme but Bafana Bafana hasn't been relevant since the early 00s.
No AFCON wins, only WC you've qualified for in the last 10 years has been as hosts. Sundowns winning the CAF champions League is your greatest achievement in the last 10 years.
Iwobi is rated higher than Moses Simon and Onyekuru. Moses Simon and Onyekuru bossed the Belgian first division why super Tau(who I like btw) has only done so at second division.
Till Tau performs at the big stage - Iwobi is better. Simple.

he's overrated because he's inconsistent. Its one thing having potential and its one thing fulfilling that potential.

Like I said earlier we in SA are under no illusions with our team , we know whether we stand unlike you guys who still think rule Africa by virtue of having players playing for Arsenal, so Bafana comparisons are unnecessary.

Like I said earlier, we don't rate Akpeyi either but since he's your number one clearly someone in the Nigerian team rates him and that's an indictment on your team.

Bro, lol. You can pull all these stats on Iwobi and it still won't make a difference. Dude is still mad overrated. Sorry

An extra thin midfield. I wonder what it would be like without Ndidi. Quality young reinforcements are needed, to be groomed into players that can fill the very big boots of playing senior team football. Picking from the age grade team :

Okon
Makanjuola
Oforborh
Tom Dele-Bashiru.

shifting the goalposts. It was about where you play wasn't it? I gave you an example of a player that was miles ahead of many European based players who never played in your beloved Europe. All of a sudden it's about age.
