He needs to make restitution and seek forgiveness from all the people he has wronged including his wife!

Did you read the post.

He still hasn't accepted he did. Restitution starts with confessing.

Good riddance. Now that he has stepped aside as pastor of the church, a formal complaint should be lodged against him at FCT Police command and thorough investigation should be conducted. Every lady with a story of abuse by the pastor should be encouraged to come forward and tell their stories. At the end of the day, we want to see full prosecution of the accused if necessary.
You mean every jezebels

As a Christian, he may choose to forgive her.
I doubt if he will..... The gravity of the allegation is so colossal to the extent of damaging his personality.

God will take absolute control over the whole situation. I am optimistic that truth will prevail and whosoever is found wanting shall face the full wrath of the law. It's a terrible world we live in.

The elders of the church that he handpicked will investigate him? grin grin grin. Nigerian churches are set up in a cult-like hierarchy. Can made men indict a godfather? We already know their verdict.

Independent investigation is necessary and proper.

The only sensible thing to do. I suppose he has good advisers.

But it came too late. This would have killed Saturdays protest and outburst if done earlier.

Thats one thing have learnt in cases like this. When you see all hands pointing at you with strong indications, Take a bow.

When it is ur beloved politicians will u encourage them to step down and face the law like u said now? That’s where the hypocrisy began.

I admire him for this act bt we shud note in Christianity there is room for forgiveness especially when the person has changed and turned a new leaf.

Lesson to all men in position to tactful with the way u handle women . If u are a pastor,a medical doctor or a lecturer use sense when relating with the opposite sex. No use ur position to force a woman for sex or it will later backfire.

You made it look as if he needed to step down before any investigation can be carried out.

The Pastor did the right thing by stepping down.

We are following this case patiently.

This alleged rape issue, it is only 'slow people' with burning emotional energy that are supporting either of the party involved without being patient to know the truth of the matter.

Everyone can believe who they want to believe out of the 2 people involved in this serious issue.

Maybe the Pastor or his former chorister and Choir Master!

We hope The truth come out soon, then we will know who is lying, and we will also know who will go to jail.

Our cent on this serious allegation.

Patient is a virtue!

The truth will be out soon.

U are always at the wrong side of history ....

God will uphold you sir. He will never leave you nor forsake you.

Irrespective of what, evidence will still be required to nail Pastor Fatoyinbo. All these oral confession by women will not be sufficient.

This letter, though seemingly humbling in context falls short of 'I am sorry; I did wrong'. Pastor wants us to pray for him without requesting for prayers for his alleged victim(s) who are going through more severe pains. The healing and reconciliation process should start by admittance of wrongdoing.

This is a good step. The next thing to do is to publicly apologize in a broadcast to all your victims and take responsibility for your failures. After that, go underground and never grant a media interview.

Because if this case goes to court and more victims come out to present evidence, Pastor, you are going to jail. I began to fear the Nigerian judiciary when they sentenced Reverend King to death. Some judges don't even go to church.

It takes a lot of courage to be strong especially in a time like this. The Senior Pastor of COZA, writes an emotional letter as he addresses the issues and reacts to issues being raised in the media... But this time, he didn't use the church letter headed paper as he writes from an A4 paper.

Remember he has stepped down as the pastor in order to give room for elders to investigate on the matter. He seems to have disabled comments on his page in order not to cause unncessary backlash as he has been receiving.

In whatever angle you may be, just take a moment and pray for him...
