Who else is receiving spam SMS from kwikmoney? I suspect one of my assets managers might have given my mobile number to a third party hence the spam.

Nope...not the fault of your asset manager. Kwikmoney started off with customer database of 9mobile as there was a kind of partnership (this explains it if you use 9mobile). If not, it means it is gradually wooing other network providers.

I guess your account is already opened like they said. But you should still send them the specified KYC documents by email otherwise you may have problem withdrawing your fund.
Thank you

You have to send the KYC details to them as soon as you get so you can be able to operate your MMF account hitch free. Most times its easy for financial houses to collect your money but when you want to redeem your fund, you would be asked for all the required details and that might take time. It would not matter then even if you need the funds very urgent..
Thank you

Note that when you complete online form you are working directly with the server of the organisation involved. It's not unlikely that the policy set on their server does not see KYC as a compulsory field required to open a new account. However the same server definitely will have another set of policies when redeeming and then KYC becomes a compulsory field which is the case for financial institutions. So I will advice you send your kyc to their customer care to avoid any denial when you are ready to access your funds. You can also double check to be sure the account name tally with what is given to you when transferring money into the given account, you can as well call the customer care rep.
Thank you. I will send the forms to them

Axa at 16%? Lol. They are just trying to attract more funds to close the 2nd quarter financial period on a high. that's why they increased the rate suddenly to over 16%. Just watch how the rate will revert to 12% plus after 30th of June. Please dont be deceived guys.

Please I want to top-up my ibtc mmf account. What's the process please?

Although your account it will be done. However, if you want quick response deal with Stanbic Asset Mgt directly. Passing through the bank is like going through a third party. It's true they are in the same group but when it comes to core business their priorities differ. You can always complete the forms and send it as attachment to the email (mutualfunds@stanbicibtc.com) provided on the website of Stanbic Asset Mgt.

No wonder the nonchalant attitude in the bank.

Please what's the process to top-up?

You can do that by sending a bank transfer of your specified amount to Stanbic ibtc mutual fund account. Also remember to include your Stanbic ibtc MMF account number as the narration. Your fund will be top up automatically once they have confirmed the payments.

You can also top up online from your Stanbic ibtc MMF mobile app or via the Internet. This involves card payment. All you need to do is click on subscription, specify the amount you want to subscribe and you will be redirected to a card payment option.

Ok. I will use my card to make the transfer. Do I need to screenshot the transaction and forward to them?

Please note if you use your card you will be credited after 2 business days but if you use the first method as stated by Pr0cter you will be credited same day provided it is done before 12pm (business days)

Dear Valued Client

We are pleased to inform you of changes to our additional subscription processes for your convenience and to enable us process your transactions more efficiently.

With effect from 01 June 2019, you are no longer required to upload the proof of payment on the website for additional subscriptions done via direct transfer. When initiating additional subscriptions through direct bank transfers (internet banking platform, mobile application or over the counter) you are simply required to indicate your E-account number as the reference/remark. An example of this reference is “1341012345”. Kindly note that all inflows received before 12 noon every business day will be given value the same day while inflows that are received after 12 noon will be given value the next business day.

The Fund Manager will not be liable for any delay or loss that may arise where the reference/remark for a bank transfer does not include the E-account number as such funds would be returned within 5 business days of receipt of funds.

Furthermore, please be informed that all additional subscriptions done via the online platform using credit/debit cards would be given value after two (2) business days upon receipt of funds.

Should you have any enquiry, please do not hesitate to contact us.

We thank you for giving us the opportunity to be of service to you.

Best Regards
