good morning,he is doing fine.
because of the persistent coughing the next chemo is shifted to 2weeks time so as to monitor his progress as he is already on medication regarding the cough and an x-ray of the chest has been taken as well. out of the projected 200k i have gotten 43k.

Op, I sent a token. May God heal your brother.
I know how draining this can be, financially and otherwise. How is your bro responding to the chemo? Wats the time difference between one chemo and another?

My dad was diagnosed with karposis sarcoma years back after he did kidney transplant, we tried our possible best, flew him outside, after 6 months of chemo, we expected the thing to be gone coz it was discovered really early but to our dismay, his next medical checkup revealed that it was so widely spread that he was given 2 years to live. We tried so many tins but my dad decided to rest. It’s exactly 1 yr and 7 months today. I don’t think I can ever get over it.

May God heal your brother completely, amen.

so sorry about your loss, I know you must have passed through hell and the devastating effect lingers but you need to take heart believing that he is resting in a better place.
Initially he was responding fine even though it is always fatal after every session. The spacing is 4weeks but he normally take some other medications Thursdays.

After reading many comments about chemo on cancer related topics my hope dims but I just pray he comes out of clean.

Plz keep hope alive. I know few people that survived cancer. Read up on soursop tea, lemon zest and co. My dads was peculiar coupled with the kidney issue.the doctors said if he wasn’t on immune suppressing drugs, his body would have probably fought off the cancer. Towards the end, his transplanted kidney got bad again, maybe the cancer spread to it? My dad simply decided he didn’t want to go back to doing dialysis.

It can be conquered and your bro will conquer it. Apart from medications and prayers, plz always talk to him to keep faith alive.

So sorry about your dad. Stay strong.

I'm just here wondering though, whether the Kaposi's sarcoma was a complication of the immunosuppressant drugs used during the transplant because KS is really rare.

Yes we all believe it was. When he went for his checkup after the kidney transplant the doctors reviewed his drugs and greatly reduced the dosing. Thereafter they kept running one test after the other which showed
nothing. We tot they were making us spend money unnecessarily but they kept on running test til one very advanced one showed k.S in it’s beginning stages. That’s why they were very confident that 6 months of chemo would clear it.

The doctors said if he wasn’t on immunosuppressants given to transplant patients, his body would have fought it off but then the new kidney would go bad. We decided it was better to treat with chemo and try to save the kidney.

Such a dilemma.

Best believe he's resting on in paradise okay?

good morning fam, hope you are all doing fine. we met with the doctor again and after examining the x-ray result of the chest and lung he recommended we kick start the chemo again by thursday. the cough is on the minimal now and on the overall he is responding better.

thankfully i have raised the money required for the next session and hoping that the subsequent ones will come easy with your support.
