I will really appreciate urgent replies. Thanks

Please I want to start up the process, and I have three questions. I've read the thread but I just need someone to confirm these, so I don't make a mistake.

1. If I am evaluating a foreign Masters degree do I still need to evaluate my Weac or neco.

2. I have friends and relatives in Canada, I read here that using their address for the WES evaluation, would make things easier or faster, can someone explain this please.

3. My husband has a Nigerian BSc. I need to open a separate WES account with his name to evaluate his BSC and WAEC right.

Thank you in advance.

University of Port Harcourt

ICES has suspended all evaluation requests for applicants. ICES has insufficient and inconsistent information regarding the validity and authenticity of degrees from this institution.

Who has scaled through ECA from Uniport?

I used CES & have received my ECA.

I graduated from Uniport too.

Hi house, I want to start this process of express entry, but I have been researching and I don't know if I am eligible. Here are my doubts:

1.

I will be 39 by December. I am married and my wife will be 39 by November. We have got 3 kids.

2. Though I have a MBA from a Nigerian university. My wife holds a HND (yet to go and collect her certificate, because we
married immediately she finished school and family responsibility has not given her the opportunity to run around for it.)

3.
I have about 12 years work experience with my state civil service, but wifey is a business woman. Though she has some skill in hair braiding)

With the above will my CRS,, score get to 400 and above even if we ace ielts?
... what other option do I have in getting to Canada? Truth be told, I really don't see much future for my kids in Nigeria. The country isn't getting better, no matter how hopeful I will want to be.
I really need honest input from gurus in the house. Should I be hopeful?

read page 1. Simulate with the crs score tool. The age (39) means you lose 50 points on the crs tool. So u need PNP ( that is is any province has your occupation in demand - research. If not. Only way else is to learn french and write TEF. Also have to consider Proof of fund for the family size

1.You don't need Waec if it is a foreign MSc.
2.WES will send you a soft copy of your evaluation, which is what you need. For your hard copy, where you want to receive it depends on you.
3. Yes he will open his own separate account and Waec is needed for his Nigerian BSc.

Thank you for your response. I have actually been reading. If you don't you could help me with this,
If we (I and Wifey) write TEF, will we also write IELTS? I know the question sounds odd. But please clear me on this.

Yes!! You both would write IELTS (aim for the minimum score LSRW 8777) and then the PA should write TEF. The whole essence of doing this is to boost your CRS score. Pls follow the elder’s advice regarding the CRS tool

Yes it will, there are loads of people who got PR using NYSC, just ensure the NOC falls between 0, A or B and that's all.

I taught in a school while i worked as a customer service rep. I have read up as to how to use nysc as part of job experience, just was not sure if i could use it. Will it work?

1, if your foundational education [I mean your first degree] is from Nigeria then you have to evaluate your Waec since WES is your ECA option.

2, though I've not done this, what I understand is after your report is been delivered to Canadian adress, the person would scan it and send it to you.

3, your answer is yes.

What are we required to take along for the PCC.

1. A copy of the data page of your international passport
2. A passport photograph (with white background) and
3. 5k (that's what I paid, could be less)

1, Not entirely correct. As long as you are evaluating ONLY your foreign Masters (irrespective of where your foundation degree is done) you DO NOT need to evaluate WAEC. For the purpose of express entry, most people evaluate ONLY their highest degree.

2, As long as you are using wes for ECA, u dont need a canadian address to speed up things. Wes generates a soft copy after the evaluation is through. Thats all u need.

Good day all, since 19th of june,MY WES profile was updated to "we received your document(S).We are reviewing your document(s).I am thinking it is taking too long for them to finish the review since it is my NECO that got to them before that update was made. Also my university transcript left my school, uniport, on 25 th june but WES has not acknowledged receipt of it.Are these observations/delays normal?
Thanks

Hello All,

i have a couple of questions to ask.

treasury bills and fixed deposit, which is more advisable that i do, for my POF

if i put my funds in fixed deposit account, say for a 6months period, and i got ppr, say 4months into the whole thing, in this case, how would you advice i proceed?

haven gotten ITA, i saw a place where im requested to upload all education docs. by this, does it include my Master transcript and Bsc transcript too? or certificates for both, alongside wes report would do?

Many thanks.

Congrats. Please I have a question. I will be writing the BCS exam by September and the result will be out by December. I would like to start this WES process so that my NECO and degree can be evaluated as I don't want any delay when I fully kick-start. Do you think its a good idea since the BCS won't be ready yet and can't be evaluated. Can WES evaluate my NECo and degree and do the BCS later?

Hi good afternoon, it depends.
You can go ahead and evaluate your results now and do an upgrade when the BCS is out. The upgrade is 100CAD.
Or you can send your results and add the BCS certificate, send them a mail that it will be ready in December. However, they would not evaluate the rest until all the other documents have been received.

My advice, go ahead and evaluate Bsc with waec, if you have IELTS, enter pool because of tie breaking rule.
From now to December, anything can happen, including a nomination. If not, do an upgrade.

Wes doesn't even take the normal 35 working days again. Plenty applications. You may wanna start on time.
