My opinion: The show distracts the Nigerian youths. As a country that is starving from innovation and people that want to think, this media adds no value to this cause.
We need the youths to think of solutions to our problems, inventions and how they can build businesses that will shock the world. I know quite some that has created some cool stuffs, say aeroplane model but they never got funding. This attitude won't exist if youths are inventing in millions. At least a few thousands will get funding.
Lastly, this show distracts youth from being engaged in politics, constitution, stock exchange and the affairs that govern the country.
An average guy knows only about sport and betting while an average lady knows only about guys and money. This is bad.

It was only yesterday for the first time I watched a few clips of BBN on YouTube and men, I can feel the pain of brain cells decimating and I have to turn it off to retain my sanity.

That show reeks of glorified vanity, bunch of dumb people doing stupid shiit on live tv. Its vulgarism, filled with sex, masculine women, aggresive men, and will only appeal to those who are not intellectually stimulated. And worse of it, I'll have to spend my money to vote for some stupid spoilt kid? That's insulting.

I don't like criticizing people's choice of entertainment. However as a people we should learn to draw a line between entertainment and poor social practise. Because in wrong entertainment we are being thought characters that may ultimately shape our lives and that of our children.

The music industry is worst off with sexual toxicity yet it's celebrated. Look at what naira Marley brought us from jail.

That was how one small pikin was singing "I want to use my cassava to scatter your womb permitted me." .. If children start dancing "soapy" who's fault is it. How do we explain to them it's a wrong dance. Who are the night watch protecting their innocents.

Responsibilities as a whole is a collective behavior. When the time comes many of you will say the country us bad and send your child abroad.

There are many pastors preaching wrong doctrines. WRONG. Totally Against Christian Principles. NOTHING that Jesus Christ preached.
But people continue attending the church and never correct the pastor. Their sense of morals is being destroyed little by little.
NOw, we are hearing of Pastors RAPING young girls.
You think the parents of the girls didn't know? Or her friends?
But because of fear, they will all keep quiet and be attending the church.

I'm no fan of BBN (and in fact, I stopped cable subscription since February) but to the best of my knowledge, BBN viewers can afford a television, data, recharge card to vote and a cable subscription. They don't run to slums to vote, they do it in their homes.
