He must be referring to earlier versions of MIUI because I know that bug has been fixed since MIUI 9. What most folks don't know is that ram management has really been optimized since MIUI 9.

People tend to associate a particular con & stereotype to a brand they've had a bad experience with irrespective of improvements that might have been made by the brand in that regard.

Every brand from Apple, Samsung to FMCGs suffer this fate

When Firefox is there cool
Chrome on Android remains the most complete browser in my opinion. Google has ironed out most of its earlier deficiencies that should come as basic features

It's not bad though, but coming from a 6gb ram phone it's not easy to ignore.]

How much is note 7 with 6gig ram/64gig rom? Any legit seller here who has it in stock? And can anyone help with a confirmed link on how to root note 7 and flash custom recovery

The 6/64 version is not in Nigeria and it's only available on AliExpress Chinese version or global ROM, I doubt any seller will have in stock, you have to order it.

You actually do have "more apps in background" and that's what's eating up your RAM.

What's the essence of having RAM space and not wanting it been used? Unused RAM is actually wasted RAM wink

You don't have to support me guy. Like you I've explored various browsers on Android but always ended up with Chrome.

Every other browser capitalizes on a niche area like low data usage, low RAM usage, fast loading of pages etc but modern day Chrome just seems to have the right balance of everything.

In fact I was so impressed I switched from Opera browser to Chrome on my PC too cool

thought this is de same phone that was launch 330$ globally
why is it cheaper
am sensing inferior parts

Now I see why Apple, Sammy, One Plus & co keep increasing the prices of their devices just to prove how not "inferior" their products are.

Have you considered that they might have a cheaper landing cost which will enable them price it competitively in line with the brand's value for money policy and still break even?

What exactly is your point?

We know the story of Note 7

My point exactly is that on their website, it's the 6/64gb that's there for the advertised price.

I don't know about others but I do not receive notifications at all only on WhatsApp, then seldomly on Facebook. My battery saver is usually on as I am not in a power friendly environment. Could that be the reason or there is another way to do this manually? Clarification will be nice

Putting on battery saver turns off your sync which makes it difficult for other applications to push notifications to your phone. use the normal mode and u will see the difference

Chrome just works and the sync is elite... tried Firefox last week, had to use bitwarden to export my passwords from google and use the plugin on Firefox but the ui is strange and harder for me.

This your theory of inferior parts though, do you have any proof regarding it?

Chrome is seamless in most things. When I was using my S4 then I experimented with a lot of browsers but still fell back to Chrome as my default browser. Now I have just three browsers Chrome, xiaomi browser and UC Browser.

There is a reason most browsers use Chrome engine, because its unrivalled when it comes to speed. Mozilla's Gecko engine is still learning.

His statements sometimes baffle me. He tends to look for validation in an almost awkward way.
