Get real people. Nigeria's population is 200 million. Ghana's is 28 million. Granting visa free access to Nigerians to South Africa will lead to heavy migration that that country cannot possibly handle. There are 2 million Ghanaians in South Africa, that should tell you that Ghanaians can afford to travel anywhere in this world especially with the huge monies we earn.

Exactly! I was in South Africa on a one-month-vacation. During that period I realize why they hate Nigerians with passion and they are justified. Almost all the Nigerians in South Africa are drug dealers and armed robbers.

Ask any Nigerian in South Africa to mention the exact name of his business or the company he works, you may be surprised at their responses. Most will call it "hustling".

I am a Nigerian but the truth is Nigerians are criminals including my brothers. My immediate younger brother refused to go to school and ran to Malaysia. To do what exactly? He said he is hustling. Which occupation is "hustling" if not internet fraud and armed robbery. In my entire clan, everybody wants quick money (ego mbute). No youth in my community is thinking about education again. They want to travel abroad and make money.

My prayer is that God will punish anybody whose mission in life is to defraud others of their hard earned money, my brothers/sisters inclusive if they undertake this evil route to riches. Success and peace shall be elusive to them. Nobody deserves to be defrauded be it black or white. Foreign or local.

I've always said it, that Nigerians are a curse to any country that let's then in. South Africa will be so stupid to issue visa free entry, when the entire country feels like a war zone. I was in Ghana in February and the prostitute standing along the road, especially around osu area are mostly Nigerians. The men are into internet criminal activities and all kinds of illicit act. Also Ukraine which I visited 3 times within the last six months and it's the same. Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, the same thing.

When I studied in the Netherlands, most of my classmates and sometimes, teachers do joke with me about the emails they receive from Nigerian scammers, even if you simply post your phone/laptop etc to sell on OLX in other countries, you'll meet Nigerian scammers specialized in that area, telling you send it to Nigeria and they will pay you when it arrives.

And in the UK, US, Italy, Spain, just name it. I was stopped one time three years ago by a male in his 20's, angry that I dressed in red, warning me never to do it again or else, I'll pay the price. I looked at him and warned him that if he wants to spend the rest of his life in jail, that he should stop me next time. They've exported occultism here, especially in Italy where Edo boys kill themselves like chicken. Any country that opens its door to Nigerians will suddenly be filled with Nigerians doing all kind of internet crimes and criminal activities. Its do deeply woven in the mindset of Nigerians that the only way to make money is to "hammer". The only country I know of with level headed Nigerians doing professional activities is Australia, thanks to their immigration system.

Sentimentalism and being overly emotional are what most posters on this thread are responding with. No country will take your responsibility for you. If Nigeria refused to get its act together, they will experience more rejections from countries as time goes by, e.g Bahrain, that had ban admissions to Nigerians completely, and even if you are Dangote, you wont be issued a Visa.

I asked a rhetoric question about Zambia & I doubt very much that they allow just about anyone to build on their land without permission. I also mentioned countries that restrict people to campsites. If it was a free-for-all in every country, people wouldn't be living in tents on camp grounds. But in South Africa, people are given the opportunity to live at any part of the country & rent like everyone else, just don't build illegal structures at will.
That's why we have the internet. The information on grants & shacks is easily accessible to you on the net, so you don't have to rely only on my words.

Of course it adds much value, because Zimbabweans live freely in South Africa, but put others in camps in their country. The hypocrisy of other Africans is glaring & yet the South Africa that does more than any other country for refugees is criticized for not doing enough, when others don't even bother to assimilate refugees into their communities.
