Omoslim26: The way they go on about so-called Nigerian criminality you would expect their jails to be filled up with Nigerians but not a bit of it. After scouring the net, the best (trustworthy ) information i could find was from FACTSHEET: The state of South Africa’s prisons published just over two years ago, in 2017, and sighted in Africa check https://africacheck.org/factsheets/factsheet-the-state-of-south-africas-prisons/. As far as i could make out, majority were Zimbabweans (41.5%), followed by Mozambicans (24%) of 11,842 foreigners held in South African correctional facilities. I assume number of Nigerians is negligible becuse if population of Nigerians in their jails was significant the world would know about it. 2 Likes |

Very good decision by the South African Government. They should also make visa approval process strict for Nigerians. Let them allow only geniune Nigerians with very good and legitimate reasons get a visa. Let them chase away those Nigerians coming to their country causing trouble, doing yahoo yahoo , scam , loudness and other bad things. 5 Likes |

Omoslim26: Is there no Fulani Herdsman that has a good conscience to settle with other tribes in peace? If the answer is yes then why is there so much phobia in Nigeria for them? When you live in a foreign community, your life there represent the values of where you come from. Go to South Africa and see what Nigerians do there, you'll hate your own country. I watched a BBC documentary and saw how many South Africans were living in the streets, searching for money everywhere to buy drugs from Nigerians. Nigerians have turned South Africa to a cult , fraud and drug hub in the whole of Africa and deserve whatever they get. 3 Likes |

Freehuman: @Freehuman, you paint such a touching picture of South Africans. They are so like needy children, I can see now. Do you think perhaps Apartheid was good for them, at least some aspect of it like white rule, which took care of their affairs and kept them safe from Wolves like Nigerians? please, also, why are so many South Africans living in the streets? |

Litmus: Apartheid is a refined word for segregation and is not good for anyone. One of the books my dad passed on to me was "Zambia shall be free " written by Kenneth Kaunda. The autobiography mirror the struggles of Zambia and other countries in Southern Africa to be free in the 20th Century. The colonialists seemed to have enjoyed the climate of the region than any other in Africa and South Africa was their bus stop. South Africa has fertile lands for Agriculture and most importantly a unique system of traditions and religion. They speak in one voice and have always thought about conquering the whole of Africa though they are subtle about it. South Africa's national anthem is sung in their native dialect which is is uncommon for an African country that would rather use in English or French. They knew the White rule was not good for them so they fought to be free. They couldn't do it alone and so the rest of the world assisted them. They were treated like slaves in their own country . It is their natural determination not to be subdued that made them revolt against discrimination and is making them progress economically and technologically. Their experiences with the whites have left indelible marks in their history so they fear immigrants who threaten their peace like the Nigerian immigrants. 3 Likes |

Ghanaians who live in S.A. comport well here. They respect the law and their hosts. They 're not very loud. Some of them commit crimes here too but you 'll never know that's why they hardly appear on bad headline news. Make una come see wetin awa brothers dey do here then una go understand why S.A will never grant us visa free. Even if it's possible for them now them go deport Nigerians back home. Which is what they 're indirectly doing now because they no longer renew our papers here again. 90% of Nigerians who came here dey believe say na only through crime person go take survive for S.A that's why we dey always dey for news for bad things |

This is the 2nd great news for Ghana today alone and congratulations is in order. Ghana is actually a country unlike Nigeria which is just an area, an occupied territory with different people forced together by guns. |

Omoslim26: If people like you are ashamed to have me as your countryman because I am speaking the truth, then I am grateful to God. But I never said ALL Nigerians in South Africa are criminals. I said "Almost All" which means a greater percentage of them and that is the fact, as painful as it is. Anyways, if you think the activities of Nigerians in South Africa is not worrisome, then you must ask God for deliverance. Yes, jungle justice is bad but selling drugs to destroy the lives of the youths of young children is a major and not "slight" provocation MR. I was a guest speaker to the University of Kwazulu Natal on the Impact of Drugs amongst African youths. Let me shock you, it was actually a young Nigerian who convened that conference as the then president of World Youth Democratic Movement and his statistics will shock you. In fact, the crimes in South Africa including the senseless killings of foreigners by SA youths are attributable to drugs. Why not just conduct a simple random research on my submissions herein. Just pick only 5 of your relatives and/or friends living in South Africa and ask them to tell you in specific terms, what exactly they are doing there. And refuse to accept "hustling" as an answer because hustling is not a known occupation. I repeat, anybody whose mission in life and the reason for his /her travelling to another country is to defraud people or commit crime, may God cause him/her to die a slow and painfully death. 2 Likes |
