Where did u c me mention anything about race in d course of our exchange? Or are u also struggling with comprehension?

So all d landlords in SA that d report was talking about are whites& Indians?

That is a habit here on Nairaland, I didn't expect you to veer from the norm.

No, they're not all white, but you can't expect all landlords to be fair, now can you? But the fact of the matter is, if you don't like where you live, you move to another place until you find a more compatible place to live in. That's what has been happening.

U are just confirming d things I said about u earlier that u draw conclusions even without knowledge about a situation, person or persons. because there is a norm, u decided to place me in ur subjective view as to how people on nairaland do certain things. So how can u then prove that u have been objective in d things u have been saying?

On a large scale, SA owes its apartheid liberation with the aid and intervention of Nigeria. Is this how to acknowledge that noble act?

Methinks high time Nigerians boycott anything SA. DSTv, MTN, Shoprite, et al.

If good for the goose, same should be for the gander.

Boss, is Nigeria under apartheid or at war? Let's not stray from the crux of this discourse, I pray you... You can't expect another country trying to stand firm economically to shoulder the burden of your economy, when you are supposed to be their giant.

On your second point about boycott, the real question is how do you boycott something you depend on? What services match or out-match those of DSTV? What network provider has the reach and quality of MTN?... Who and where will absorb the millions directly and indirectly engaged by these organizations?... Before we talk boycott, we have to truly start by first breaking the monopoly and reliance on them... We still use engineers and technicians from these nations, because our own people prefer to do substandard work and enrich themselves... Do you see it all comes back to my point regarding national introspection?

In d cause of my exchange with u, u have drawn several conclusions & made claims that u couldn't defend or substantiate. So that puts ur 9:10 ratio in serious doubt.

Like I said earlier ur use of foul language or insults don't move me. When I c people who use insults & personal attacks like u do as their only means of communication, its obvious that they have run out things to say

Aside from that, the purchasing power of average SA citizen is low and they are not as enterprising as we Nigerians, unemployment is high similar to Nigeria, rent is high.... If not for some few folks(Nigerians) who engages in drug peddling.... Is not a place to be considered

Dependency syndrome.
These things you attach to at the expense of dignity and pride, will it kill Nigerians if they drop it all like a hot tamale?
Nigeria existed and thrived eons before MTN, DSTv, Shoprite et al.
She will continue to do so with the boycott.
China, Japan, Singapore, etc didn't get where they are by being largely dependent on others services.

As a matter of fact, while the boycott may inconvenience many, it may help to look inwards and be more innovative and creative.

I stand for a boycott in light of developments.

Self reliance is key.

I equally stand for boycott in the face of an emerging and strong local industry... But, does the latter truly exist? If we can invest and fully grow our local content, this dependence will die off... We achieved it in the cement, sugar, toiletry, and beverage industry... But, how far in the other prominent areas?...

This is why we have to look inwards, and start investing in our nation... This is what my submissions have been about. How can a giant of Africa be depending on a smaller country in the same continent for satellite tv, telecommunication, and upscale malls?... The anomaly is unsettling.

Sigh... Your choice of words show you up as frustrated... Your frustration stems from desperation... Your desperation probably stems from a lesser desire to join hands to build your nation, than to make it big at the expense of another nation whose citizens and leaders have paid the price...

To your dumb questions: Yes, I have travelled, still travel, and will continue to travel (Quite irrelevant to my submission, and the discourse here).
They do what they please cos the laws in that nation permit them to. If this nation were progressive and the economic giant she's supposed to be, those Nigerians would be working hard here in their own backyard with dignity, and fully protected by Nigeria laws... Do you know what South Americans, Middle Easterners, Asians equally suffer in Europe?...

I have made my salient points... Take up your issues with your spineless and useless Ministry of Foreign affairs, and Nigeria Embassies...

Don't quote me again with pointless and misguided rants.

Lol.
Enjoy your dependency syndrome.
Hope It takes you to the "next level"
You can never be as good as an original, long as you copy and dependent.

If it hurts the private investors, it will also directly hurt you. They'll likely fold up in Nigeria, take a walk or regard you better.

That's the idea.

Nope. Huge population is not the problem. When a country has more than half of its population living below the poverty line, no country will issue free visas to such country. America’s population is bigger yet its citizens can go visa free to a country with a population the size of Lagos. What’s the difference? If most Nigerians are wealthy enough to spend tourist Naira in SA and come back, even if we are a trillion in Nigeria, SA will issue that free visa.

So instead of Nigerians being mad at SA, we should fix our economy so other countries will want us in their countries.

Rossikk:
Get real people. Nigeria's population is 200 million. Ghana's is 28 million. Granting visa free access to Nigerians to South Africa will lead to heavy migration that that country cannot possibly handle. It makes no sense for them to grant Nigerians visa free access when they still have a huge population of deprived people in SA that need attention. I wouldn't take this personal at all. We are a huge country.

Am really grateful that u provided that screenshot cos it only confirmed what I said earlier that south Africa discriminates its fellow Africans. All this emotional outbursts doesn't change d truth as said in d report. U can even c that d report countered d lie u told that African immigrants "forcefully" build illegal structures "everywhere" in SA. Maybe u should read d report a bit more so u can c how ur lies will float to d top.

I have noticed that Xhosa nostra is fund of wiggling his way out of his assertions when asked to explain or defend them by expanding further into the logical steps that took him there.

2.You seem to revert to tribal issues concerning Nigeria. A fact but none the less a symptom of our history as opposed to yours which necessitated a coalition of tribes/clans in your country which cannot be in anywhere comparable to the complexity of ethnic identity in West Africa in general. Your country has a smaller set of Ethnic groups who are pretty much offshoots of the same people with mutually intelligible languages and culture which fosters a better chance for cohesion especially when faced with a common enemy.

3. The tribal argument on your part should be dumped as a defense or rebuttal because that is far more complex in our region than yours.
