Well I am not hating on him. I have achievements too and my eyes are still on bigger goals (goals that scares me sef ). I have friends that have achieved things I only dreamt of in years to come, but I am on track to greatness too and I only compete with myself not anyone.

But I have to talk as some were intimidated by him already and were turning him to a sort of god (which they don't need too, everyone is a genius in special areas). I can bet my balls that we have more achievers on this platform following the posts and laughing it off. Some do well in business while some can only exceed in professional life...... It all boil down to personal race.

And for everyone...... For you to make it this far means you are not an inferior. You have done well and if you are not considered by nnpc? That is their lost, they just lost a gem to the street.

Don't and never feel intimidated by anyone (your self esteem should never be put into competition).

They were a bit thorough. My session went for at least 20mins. I think I answered 5 questions directly related to my field, 1 situational, 1 safety, 2 project management asides the usual introduce yourself and some little talk after the interview was over. Do you remember their names?

Nope, schooled in Nigeria fully. 5 years at one of the top federal schools (think Unilag, UI, OAU, Uniben)...my projects came after I pitched an idea at a popular ideahub competition, one of the well connected guys in the competition who was very impressed then linked me with top people at those top schools (think MIT, Stanford, Caltech, Harvard) and they were also impressed at it spiralled from there.

OG i feel your post bro, this is faceless forum sha, anybody can say anything, but one thing teaser will never do is feel intimidated, ama street boy i only applied cos the thing sweet small...I don grad since and finished nysc, i never applied for any job, I no even get a CV, don't know how to prepare one, had to get my lil sister who is a banker(not cashier oh) to draft for me, I had to go to neco office in my state to collect my original neco certificate after 11 years wey I don write am...few ppl sabi me here, no need to brag,no be everybody go make am with book sha. one person wey i sabi personally wey I feel he really make it big with book na Craig Oluwatoyosi google that name...na family friend and big brother...you go fear achievements...sotey SA govt dash am award, he finished from futa before he went to Stellenbosch UNi for his M.sc, he also studied at MIT...and already invented something already being considered by United Nations for refuge camps..google more... I no dey talk down on anyone's achievement, las las we go dey ok. As i get a friend wey we finish from the same school, same cgpa wey just venture into clothing business...my friend na multi millionaire today...that GT upfront money na change to him...so i believe everybody get der own path to make it in life. its good to discover one's way early...end goal na to make money oh...na money all of us dey look for...money money money...

But you can actually choose not to read the "exhausting" info. It may be too much for you but a source of inspiration for others, after all he only responded to probing questions from other nairalanders. To the issue at hand, that dude up there achievement is laudable and Inspiring, great to see our own Naija product blazing the trail and he has my best wishes, this kind of thing shouldn't lead to any sort of intimidation but that one can achieve anything with the right mindset, determination and diligence.

We all learn from each other and need to rub minds with smart, industrious and entrepreneurial people.

However, we shouldn't let that become the focal point of this thread, excess can become an issue. Almost everyone here have got great achievements and just choose to learn moderation. If everyone want start, we go just rename the thread to career and life achievements.
