1.75% interest on a loan of N1.2m (12 months plan) means a monthly repayment of N100,000 + N7500 interest for 12 months.

Seriously, this is the best deal I've seen anywhere in Nigeria (excluding Cooperative societies).

It is a good deal. I intentionally tried one of these QuickCredit films. The lady that responded refused to give me their interest rate but doing a simulation on their website, i was able to have an idea of the interest rate. It was between 5-6% per month.

I think you must have credit worthiness to access GT quick loan oh.

If your salary account is domiciled with them, it is easy. A colleague uses them because his salary account is domiciled with them. I could not get from my bank because they were giving some conditions that where i worked has to be profiled and approved by them before the staff can get any loan. It was so annoying. Meanwhile, this same bank was chasing me with Credit Card which i refused to collect.

Great investor in d house,
Pls is it possible for someone to purchase a treasure bill with face value alone? As in if am invest in 1m @ 10% per annum, my face value is 900k while my discount is 100k. But is it possible for me to leave 900k in my account and bid for 1m as face value?
Thanks in anticipation

Does anyone have any experience (good or bad) investing with Afrinvest?

Apparently, they were voted the best equity house, best research house, best asset management company and best fixed income fund in 2018. It's quite an impressive achievement and I'm considering investing with them.

I hope by q4 of 2019 and q1 of 2020, we start seeing rates around 15% pa. There are no metrics or historical data one can rely on really to the best of my knowledge.
what 364 rate peg at ?

Salary account is domiciled with them. Check

Healthy inflow and outflow over a considerable period of time. Check

Either of the two could suffice.

Not their fault. There is no collateral and no salary account domiciled with them. So they are taking a greater risk. Moreover, the banks refused to do consumer lending like salary advance or personal loan even when your salary has been paid to them for close to 10 years.

Are you sure of this??
Throws doing a research about the loan but the interest rate was too high.

Is there a way to clarify this?

Nope...

With GTB I get the notifications for salary advance everytime I use the ATM, but never tried it though

One can't be too sure o, you can send the bank a mail or download the mobile banking app.

I don't know if the calculation of loan interest is different from normal banking interest. Yes it is very good if the repayment interest is this minimal. However, it doesn't look that way to me. Please I will want know how they arrived at N7,500 as 1.75% of N1,200,000

Banks are licensed and regulated by CBN ....
Parthian Partners is licensed and regulated by SEC ...and also a limited company...
In term of risks...you cant compare First Bank(Tier One Banks) with Parthian Partners.... Haba....
When the risk crystallizes, you will understand the difference .....

The problem with majority of us is that we are not informed. Do you think Sterling will consider itself irresponsible to the extent of advertising and advertising I-Invest on its official website if it is fraudulent?

Hardly did we realize that CBN, SEC and CBN regulates all disclosures on Banks websites. Organization faces a lot of challenges when it comes to mitigating their reputational risks nowadays and you have to recognise this fact.

Now can you please tell me any bank that associated itself with MMM and other reprehensible investments in the past?

U av your choice, but don't come here and tell us things you know nothing about.

Stop writing as if you did not attend a university ....
Sterling Bank is a different entity from Parthian Partners in law...
The fact that they are in partnership on I-invest does not confer any liability on Sterling Bank...
Meanwhile, Sterling Bank did not make any disclosure on the extent of their partnership... thats a wise move...
Attract customers.... if there is a problem.... .... push the liability to the other party....
If mgt of Parthian Patners mismanage your funds....whats your next move...
U dont have to wait till the risk crystallizes... this is Naija....
Top mgt always find a way to escape justice ....
We have seen it all from collapsed finance coys of the 90s...
To licensed investment outfits by SEC.... and even licensed banks by CBN....
Nobody gives a f**k about you. and ur money....
Be wise ... My 2 cents

Who told you that both entities are not separate legal entities prima facie? Basically, there is no investment without any associated risk(s) and that is why your comprehension skill needed being deepened. However, companies and banks collapsed and wound up; what exactly is your point?

All I said summarily was that if I-invest is fraudulent, Sterling would not have associated itself with it as the 1st TB investment app in Nigeria to the extent of announcing it officially on its website, unlike MMM and other ponzi schemes.

This is an investment outfit that has the gut to announce that its investment has reached over 2 billion naira in Jan 30, 2019 on pages of all Nigerian newspapers which equates the six months of its existence.

In the same vein, if you know how strict their KYC is before being approved, you will realise that fraudulent activities is traceable and there is no escape route even for the promoters.

However, have you considered the reason why someone can only withdraw from I-Invest through an account linked to someone's BVN alone? This is part of regulatory measures stipulated for I-Invest by regulatory authorities which I am sure you are not aware of.

If you have aparthy towards it, that's your choice but stop being an ignoramus.

Hello all, I made a Tbills investment of 4m for 91 days with first bank. I have been debited (4m) 12/07/2019 and the alerts reads NTBS 91 days. But no credit of my interest. Has my tenor started running or they haven’t purchased the tbills yet cos I filled my application through my uncle that works there.

I want to believe ur bid was for the primary market..
Ur account gets debited prior to d bid day which is normal(first bank) based on ur instructions...
Ur upfront will be credited to ur account once d bid is successful or rather ur 4milly will be reversed and credited if d said bid falls...
Upfront on secondary market is paid same day u instruct ur account to be debited...
This as been part of my experience with first bank so far
