I have quite a bit I'd love to say but so my text isn't read in a tone not intended for it, I'd keep quiet. Please you should also read the initial post properly. Not everything must be sugarcoated on here. Nobody should be looking for their child. Unless that child was kidnapped.

U stand a chance in next 4 to next 5 draw.

But since we can not predict cic u can also try TEF route, u need 6 to 8 months practice before u can write. It costs 160k, and u can register through Alliance Français in ikoyi.

All the best

Its gonna be sooner than you thing....read today from a reliable source, 70% of those in the 451+ group right now, entered in June and are btw 450/451. The next two ITAs will be targeted at 450, with a backlog of the remaining 2018....

Hello great minds, honestly I am very impressed with what I have seen here. Now to the point, I have a PGD in Economics, HND and Nd in Accountancy. My wife have a Doctor of Optometry degree, she just passed out last March. I am 32 and wife is 26. The work I have done since 2013 is clearing agency which is quite different from what I studied. My job pay well but I want to live in Canada. Pls what are my options, I need a sound advice pls.

you dont understand how this stuff works yet. tie break only affects those on the crs score. when you call 450 everyone on 451 and above must get ITA. there is nothing like backlogs. CIC does not care about that. understand tie break process before you begin all these kinds of speculation.

Hello house.... To those who used the CES ECA, I have this little ish... There is the point where I am to tick delivery ot pickup, which do I tick? What are the implications?
Also, do I really need to send to a 3rd party to pick for me or what?

Hello Bekecons
I am also a Physiotherapist. I understand how you feel.
I wrote IELTS 4 times, if not for my 4th breakthrough, I would have continued writing.
I must tell you it is not easy. In addition, some of us had to do masters .
With TEF and sibling's points, and your age, you stand a great chance.

*PM me, so that you can meet our other colleagues in this journey, maybe that will motivate you.
Bekecons:
SORRY THIS IS LONG but i really need a help
I am a trained Physiotherapist by profession and have been practicing for the past 5 years.I have been trying to immigrate to Canada though EE since 2015 but could never make the CRS required. I got married in 2017 and have a child now. Because I was about losing points for age, I entered the pool in September 2018 with CRS of 415 which decreased to 410 after I turned 30 in February this year. If I decide to go alone for now and let my family join me later my CRS will be 430.
I also have knowledge in French, have a half-brother with his family in Alberta so I don’t think I should let all these go in vain.

Kindly help me

Hello house,
I am new here and see the great collaboration here, thumbs up to everyone. I received my ITA last week and intend to submit this week after my medicals.
Please I have a friend that has a bachelors degree in banking and finance (she has no masters) what ECA do you recommend she use that would give her a favorable assessment.

Thank you

Made a new account to post this to protect my identity from my workplace. Not sure I will login to this account, so hopefully nobody asks too much questions. However, if you ask questions I'd try to answer but may not be timely. Not doing this for the scoring but to help people get an idea of how they too can go about their submissions (particularly concerning gift deed and wife change of name)

So I got my PPR yesterday

ECA: Done with WES

IELTS: First time was enough to get my wife and I up to 440.

ITA: Dec 19th with CRS score of 440. I was initially waiting to complete my spouse ECA but decided to just sit in the pool at 440. Scores were about 420 - 445 so I was just waiting for my wife's ECA to sit pretty at 448. A co-worker just said I should enter and see. I entered and less than a week later I got ITA

AOR: Feb 10th. Took a while to get all my stuff ready, plus I was not willing to spend too much money.

Reference Letter: Got my reference letter and job description NOT in CIC format, just my normal company's way of writing letters to embassies. My job description was a 6 page document, so just stamped it with a stamp from HR that just says Confidential and submitted. I also added payslip, employment letter, promotion letter and confirmation of employment letter. Added all this because I was a little scared my reference letter was not in CIC format

POF: Used Stanbic mutual funds after gift deed from my sister. Added my bank statement though for the past six months. Augmented everything with my pension, also with Stanbic. Got letters easily from Stanbic for both pension and mutual funds. As for my gift deed, I did not want to spend money or time on all the notarisation stuff. I then researched on usage of stamps to make things official.I was satisfied with my personal research then went ahead to put only a fifty naira stamp on the gift deed letter. My sister's signature and mine were across the stamp.

Change of name for my wife: I also researched this personally to see if marriage certificate is ok. I was satisfied with my research so I used marriage certificate and added newspaper change of name because we had done it earlier. I did not use any affidavit; like said earlier, I was not willing to spend money.

Every other thing was normal; police certificate for Nigeria and UK, medicals at IOM and passports at Abeokuta.

Ordered GCMS notes sometime in late May. Called IRCC first week of June. Did these two actions because my wife and I were hoping that within 100 days we'd get PPR, boy were we wrong. Personally, I think GCMS could have been a waste of 3,000 naira. Not sure I gained much from it when I received it early July apart from giving myself more headache and worry after seeing review required.

Anyways got two ghost updates on 12th July then got the PPR around 10pm on 15th July.

I ask again, can short bursts of work count towards the work experience,
E.g 4 months in a year for 3 years?
Or maybe 2 months twice a year for three years

Hmm! I am not sure that LOE will be sufficient going by past precedence. See picture attached, the man in question has gotten PPR but at the time he reported the issue on his blog early this year, he could not get access to his daughter. After that CIC warning, he was later lucky enough to trick the mother into allowing the daughter join him for vacation and that was how he was able to get her medicals, although unaccompanying.

No two application is the same. Perhaps LOE alone might work for your brother so he can try it if he likes and might return here to positively testify. It might also get sore for him as he might not get a warning but a straight rejection at R10 completeness stage, it really depends on the VO. But medicals are a core requirement, CIC rarely bend their rules on such. Loe without medicals is risky but then they say "the greater the risk, the higher the returns" cheesy Goodluck
Flopretty:

Thank you for the response.

Let me inform you that the ex-wife is not aware at all that my brother is doing any Canada immigration stuff, so the thought that she suspecting that he's planning to travel with the child is not there at all. My brother is only bothered about including the child name in the application so as to make it easy to bring him to canada later especially for University education which i believe the mother will not mind then, although the child is just 5years now and my brother does not want to travel with the child now honestly.

He is now thinking of submitting the application without including the medical report for the child but wish to add LOE for it. Does it make any sense? Can it fly without any problem?

No pressure, take your time and gather your docs carefully, that is more important. All the best

Amen, I can't wait for it too grin
majamisile:

The enforcer of the eight kingdoms herself and a psychologist per excellence, you just are a big mind reader. Getting all the documents together has really not been difficult but it hasn't been a bed of roses either. I am working seriously on getting back fully on the thread as soon as possible. Can't wait for your PPR sincerely.
