A distraught Nigerian man in a bid to keep friends updated with happenings in his relationship, announced that he dumped his girlfriend of 5 years after discovering she has a secret son.

Fumlack Kingsley George also accused his girlfriend of cheating while they were dating, and further stated that he had no choice but to break up with her. Sharing a photo of the man his girlfriend of five years was cheating on him with, he wrote;

Having the son may not have been the problem, but the decision to keep it secret from him when they met. It is possible she didn't tell him at the beginning because she didn't know if he was serious or not, but as time goes on these things become more and more difficult to reveal.
It is something they can still work out especially if the woman is a true wife material in many other aspects like character, attitude, hardworking, ambition, honesty, etc.

If a woman can hide a child for five years, who knows what else she's hiding? First, she's secretive, secondly she Dont value that child and finally, she have very low self esteem. She thinks the guy wont accept her if he knew she already have a child.

Think man, looking at the picture of the boy up there, does that look like a 5yr old? Even if the picture wasn't there, is there any way she could have become pregnant, and given birth after nine months without the man knowing? The child was obviously born way before they met. The major issue is not the child, it is the decision if the woman not to reveal to the man that she already has a son.

Its not a crime having a child but keeping it secret. He should reconsider her loyalty and ask how the child came about, it could be from a teenage relationship that resulted in pregnancy or rape which she kept instead of abortion, perhaps she thought she had succeeded in keeping it off her life and dont know how to tell him after some years of dating because she was afraid of losing him if she opens up.

If she concealed it because she was so much in genuine love and out of fear of losing him then he can reconsider and consider her other good qualities but if it is just because she needs a man to pay her bills then then he can leave.
