Is it that you don’t have a primary place of assignment cos that suffices and there is no evidence of documents which suggest that you are serving.
For purpose of study, perhaps if you can state your previous course of study and what you intend to study, it would help.
For the financial aspect, including your SOA is not necessary. There’s no letter of sponsorship/affidavit of sponsorship from your dad.

I think you should order the notes since you will reapply later. I leave the rest to the ogas at the top.

I have a ppa and indicated it in my application, studied IT going for a web design and development course. I also included LOS and affidavit of sponsorship.

You have actually answered ur question by orderng for ur GCMS note.. When that is ready, share with the house so the knowledgeable peeps here can give u one or two tips on how to go about it.. Peace

Thanks boss.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by rippyblogger(m): 9:35pm On Jul 19, 2019

Try to defer resumption if possible.
Based on the purpose of visit and family ties reason: You’ll have a month headstart when the GCMS comes if you redraft the why Canada, future goals and prospects, and home ties, section of your SOP. From experience I know those reasons mean you need to improve those sections in your SOP. Personally I’ll review the whole SOP and improve it: make better arguments, include better supporting docs etc. Regardless of the specifics of your case, you would eventually need to amend your SOP so why not start earlier ?

Based on your travel history excuse: just make it a point in your introduction to stress if you have / haven’t ever travelled outside of the Country. If the former, attach evidence of passport data pages, stamps and visa pages to support your application. Travel history is hardly ever a significant / primary reason for refusal unless you have a history of overstay. It’s mainly a secondary reason: I know someone who had visited UK, USA, CAN and still had this reason for refusal on a SP application.

Thanks a lot, I'll share necessary info with the house once I receive the notes

Please I need help on behalf of a friend. She is scheduled to leave for Canada in few days. Her uncle in America purchased an Egyptair ticket for her through an agent using his credit card.
I just saw online that egyptair requires that the owner of the card travels with you in person. Am confused. Does it apply to people who bought theirs through an agent?
Kindly help. Thanks.

I need urgent help. I am trying to help an uncle of mine put in application for student visa.

2 kids Son - Grade 10 he is 15year
algonquin 3 years degree and he is 18 years

The wife also secure admission for PSW in same school as that of the son in algonquin. This is a one year program, with 4months preparatory class starting september.

How best should they apply for visa? School fees for grade 10 has been paid in full 14000CAD public school, tuition for the son going for college paid in full 18,000 CAD and the 3k CAD for the wife paid.

You can't do that (if it is your application)!
Your application is in the final stage.
You will get automatic refusal because you've been called for medical..., that's if you haven't done it.
But if you have done your medical, it would hasten up the final decision.

you can withdraw your application by
Using the webform and tell them the reasons behind this.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/contacts/web-form.asp

You can as well send a <EMAIL> to CIC to request for withdrawing your application.

In your case, no kobo would be refunded cause they have started working on your application.

Yes, I have been called for medical but I have not done it. Does it mean if I withdraw I will be automatically refused?

Her uncle should call customer care with the flight ticket number to address the issue.

Greetings my people,
I have made my application since May6,got medical request on June14, and medical passed on June 28.
I haven't gotten any update since then.
Your views will be highly appreciated.
PATIENCE! That's all you need now, your app is going very well and approval is almost certain as long as you didn't use any doctored document to apply. CIC have approved your app already but trying to run a second background check on you(to verify your SOA and other documents submitted), so if you didn't use any doctored document start making your traveling plans. Congratulations in advance

Pls who is ready to swap a medical date with me. Lagos preferably. Anyone ?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by Nobody: 7:38am On Jul 20, 2019
Nice one @ gatsbym4. As regards the table, you could bold all on row 1.

Try positioning the mouse on the column separator (line) in between column header L and M then double tap (this should move it to the end of the sentence) or drag as the case may be. This should let every word fit into cell "L1" completely then you could cut "final status" in "N1" and place in "M1".

The above can also be applied to cells in row "1" so that cell title ends in 1 and applicants begin in "2".

Thanks.

Good morning.

And if this is the actual reason you want to withdraw your application, you need SERIOUS flogging. I mean SERIOUS FLOGGING!
IRCC is aware that we only have two accredited medical centres for medical examination and they are also aware of the influx of people in these two centres.

So now, send <EMAIL> To lagos and Nairobi and address this issue.

Tell them your medical has been booked for (date) and you won't be able to meet up with the 30 days whatsoever.
They will extend your date.

From the look of things they are financially stable, so that's covered. Will your uncle follow his wife and children or he will stay back? If he stays back it will be much easier to convince the vo, because they can use him as home-tie. If he intend to go with them, do s he have any investment back home that he can hold on to as home-tie? Because the vo might think the entire family just want to run away from Nigeria for greener pasture and using study as a means.
NB: They actually have a good profile, that's if they play their cards right

Another option to what @Austacus said would be for you to walk to any of the hospital very early (be at the gate even before they open up for the day) and plead with them to run a medical checkup on you that the date given to you by CIC has almost expired. I have seen cases where people without booking did their medical , they are human and should understand your situation.

Thank you!!
The reason I want to withdraw is based on the fact that I have been offered a ptdf scholarship for PhD in Germany. And I may no longer go to Canada again. Also, I have withdrawn my tuition paid to school as part of the refund policy. So that’s the reason I have been thinking of withdrawing my application but I don’t want it stained like resulting in automatic refusal.

Bro just send them a mail informing them that you can't pursue the application any further as a result of issues you need to sort back in your home country, perhaps someone closely to you is terminally ill and you would like to be there for the person before he or she dies and as a result you plan to reapply when the time is convenient for you emotionally and all and you have withdrawn your admission at the school too because of what happened. Perhaps this might help.
