Thank you, I hope I won’t get an automatic refusal for withdrawing?
Also, my background check is still under review. So no decision as been made except for the medical request.
I humbly await your response on this.
Thanks

AkeemTy:
Bro just send them a mail informing them that you can't pursue the application any further as a result of issues you need to sort back in your home country, perhaps someone closely to you is terminally ill and you would like to be there for the person before he or she dies and as a result you plan to reapply when the time is convenient for you emotionally and all and you have withdrawn your admission at the school too because of what happened. Perhaps this might help.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by AkeemTy(m): 10:51am On Jul 20, 2019
I don't know bro but you have just had to give a good reason why you want to withdraw at this point. Also, read up the terms about withdrawing an application that has already started on the IRCC website to see if you can find a reason to provide for a successful withdrawal without denial of visa application.

Thanks I have read many things online and I am yet to read something about denial for withdrawing as one guru as said. Since no decision as been made, I think I might also get a refund but that’s not the case. The case is to avoid refusal due to withdrawing.
I will go added to withdraw and write & copy those Visa office as told.
Thanks everyone.
However I still hope for any valuable information.
Many thanks

the way indians get visa gaan
It is not just about Indians, even Nigerians living outside Nigeria(especially countries with good ties with Canada) don't go through the same scrutiny the ones that applied from Nigeria go through (it is what it is). The fact some applicants applying from Nigeria still use fake documents to apply will only make things worst for the rest.

what else do they need? The major documents are the admission letters and soa. They can contact the schools and banks sharply for that. They just rubbish nigerians anyhow.

But why can't you just get the visa, stamp and collect your passport, apply for Germany and let the Canadian visa stand a chance for you to get the German visa, go to Germany but also visit Canada from there before your visa expires.
I guess I am typing rubbish though. But I am really interested to know more about this kind of case. Please don't take my advice on, it's just me thinking "why can't you get both visa"
Experts please enlighten us on this matter.

just to get visa, we go submit propeties, some submit close to 20 certificates, different stuffs. After all that, same refusal reasons. If u order for the note too, almost thesame reason with others.

Even if you’re going to Germany, I don’t think it hurts to just wait and get your approval since you’ve gotten a medical request

Those advising the bloke to just get the Canadian study permit and still go to Germany, hope we all know a study permit has conditions attached to it? It is believed he will study at a Canadian University and so must obey conditions for which the visa was issued, now telling him to still go ahead with the application will contravene conditions for which the visa was issued and that can affect his chances of getting a Canadian visa in the future because he breached conditions for the first one. As I said, it is better he withdraws his application so he does not get a denial and processses his german student visa and hopefully in future if he wishes to visit Canada, his records with them will remain clean instead of getting the Canadian study permit and not using it.

You not typing rubbish Sir.
The thing is I will need a visit visa to enter into Canada even if I get the student visa.
Also, the German visa will be processed by both government. So, wether rejection or acceptance, a bigger chance of going to Germany is almost guaranteed. Or what do you think ?

No one is rubbishing Nigerians, if you see the number of people using fake documents(out of desperation)from Nigeria you will see why they are getting strict. If we don't give them reason to run further checks they won't do it. There was also a time when if you apply from Nigeria and you pay your tuition fee you are almost guaranteed TRV but right now the case is different

Thank you!!
The reason I want to withdraw is based on the fact that I have been offered a ptdf scholarship for PhD in Germany. And I may no longer go to Canada again. Also, I have withdrawn my tuition paid to school as part of the refund policy. So that’s the reason I have been thinking of withdrawing my application but I don’t want it stained like resulting in automatic refusal.

I am in a similar situation except my visa has already been approved.

Scrutiny isn't the problem but flimsy excuses for denial, that's the real issue.

I didn't get another visa. I just might just end up not going because I want to complete my RN registration first. In my country of residence, I would need to work before I be officially licensed.

And why do you think they make up those flimsy excuses? Simple, because their first impression about applications from Nigeria is almost the same (a way to run). If since CIC started running the second background check on applicants they find out their documents are real they will get tired and stop it(these people are psychologist). The more they find out people use fake papers the more strick they will get with applicants and that in return will lead them to give flimsy excuses (sometimes) even to genuine applicants

Goodday house, please need your assistant. My wife applied for canada study permit in which am the sponsor. She got a refusal saying "they are not convince that after her education she will return to Nigeria base on her personal assest and financial status". So am re-appying for her now. 1. We already paid the first term tuition fee earlier. 2. Am including her landed property which was not included in the first application. 3 Her account balance is abt 1.5M and my own account balance is about 7M. 4. She is working and earn abt 280k as net pay.. Also please advise me on the address to put when writting the sponsorship letter since its an online application.
Finally, does she need an Letter of explanation and Statement of purpose or just one is ok.

pittoilet:
Refused visa on 28th of June

Submitted documents
All cic documents
Birth certificates and that of my siblings
All funds related stuff of up to 41m(both fixed and gratuity for my dad)
Dad's letter of employment
Dad's promotion and reference letter from place of work
Dad's payslip
SOA
SOP/LOS
My Certificate and transcripts(schooled in turkey)
Acceptance letter and payment receipt
Tax clearance
Survey plan

Refused based on my current employment status(I am not employed, I am currently serving and I indicated it in the cic form as my current employment/activity)

Based on purpose of study (I guess that is generic because my SOP was hot and I made sure I try to convince the VO)

Based on personal financial status (I didn't include any of my personal financial statements or anything related to me financially)

I am thinking maybe because I indicated that I am serving hence why I was rejected, I have decided to finish my nysc and reapply, but I do not know what to put in the employment field when reapplying.

Gurus in the house please help me on this

Good profile.
But my own advised in addition will be, increase her account balance(very important) and your own if you can. But her own most importantly. Although those people don't have a standard they use, but talking from experience.
Finally, please don't apply unless you have the GCMS note. Thank me later.
