The person dat did it for you could be the one that told them at the alien office that its for one year he or she wants to sponsor you....dat shld nt really b an issue........some person own is even three month...six month as the case may b......although mine is 2years.....because i told my person dat did it 4 me so....and she told them at the alien office its for 2years.....so shld the embassy request it must b two years...just contact the person to go help you make the correction. brother, it has been advised here severally to block account only if u have AD already, don't go and risk your money. I prefer people Block their account when they have gotten AM or had crossed two weeks after their visa interview.

Rejection usually comes within 2 weeks of interview?

yes, most times it will be "conviction on your purpose of study".If you get rejected after 2 weeks, then is irregularities like fake sl, not meeting up the enrollment deadline etc, those ones are technicalities

Nop....make sure you use it to get resident permit on time once u arrive and start saving for renewal.

Should I open and fund a block account before booking an appointment?
What I have are my original documents, do I have to certify my photocopies?
How long does it take to get an appointment?

You book appointment Thru that site(if your first degree was either first class or second class upper you can book cat A. if not, book B) also you can download the list of documents needed for your interview (student checklist pdf)
You can open your block account (the whole process is online) but dont fund till you get appointment date
Well, getting appointment date now is difficult, you just book and wait.
You dont need to certify any document..you need just the original and two photocopies of every document listed on the checklist
