Patience is power.
Keep gathering your documents.
When 491(regional) comes on board, they may be soft on us.
491 is the way to go for now. We need to wait patiently for it.

When applying to SA, I mistakenly put 2019 as the end date instead of 2014 in one of my work episodes.

It's over 7 business days now and they're yet respond. Pls advise.

What is your qualification and experience?

@Johnnykay007,

Instructions on ACWA are pretty straightforward. If you go through it, you will be fine.

Only Tasmania and ACT sponsor this occupation with a condition that you have a job offer from a local employer.

Would you pursue 489 now if you had the chance or would you wait for 491? Is it more beneficial?

Align your experience with that of the ANZSCO description. Also include the GIS softwares you used and your achievements. You should be fine.

Please guys who have scaled this; am I supposed to ensure my transcript gets to vetasses before I pay and submit my application for assessment?

If yes, how do I know when they receive it?

Hello house, please is there a way to select a specific region for 489 nomination while creating an EOI?

Orana stated on their website dt one MUST choose orana on the EOI while skillselect only allows for state selection and choosing YES for willing to live in a region.

Please any response to the above.

Thanks, the Medical Doctor is a family relative, its not me. We have been trying to, but like you said it seems complicated. Like I said, we created an account through AHPRA, but could not get pass filling educational history as there was no option for choosing educational institutions outside Australia.

i get confused with AHPRA registration and that of Medical Board of Australia (MedBA) https://www.medicalboard.gov.au/Registration/International-Medical-Graduates.aspx.

From your experience, do you think the above link is the one for overseas applicants? Thanks kindly advise.

You don't have to but you have to ensure that VETASSES get your transcript on time because it may delay the assessment.

You can pay and then arrange your transcript. If you send transcript before payment, they will not be able to match it to any application.

Are you married?

If you think you can get 75 points, you can assess as a pharmacy technician for South Australia nomination.

Did you meet their criteria?
If yes, Strike Fast.
489 I's better than 491; And I believe that they leaving it (489) there is just to buy time and pick 1 or 2 persons then call it a wrap.

And some states are now adding a condition that their Visa is not available for "Chain Migration", 491 "may" end up having much of that.

If you read the first few pages of the previous thread carefully, you’ll understand the entire process and have the basic knowledge required to progress. Over 30 80 people have successfully followed the simple steps highlighted by @bellong and have migrated. You can do it too. Regards.

In Australia migration context, it is when a state give nomination to people because of their family members living in the state.
