IT in general is a broad field, which includes software development/,programming, networking, etc. I'd suggest you do some research on the different fields in IT, to see which one may work for you.

It's important to choose something that you'll enjoy doing. And to not choose it just because it pays well.

Why dont you just finish your studies.

Even if she comes to see you in Nigeria, the fact that you will still be a student when you face the embassy is a question mark on your application.
