Bros if Umahi delivers as he has stated that he would do, i don't see any reasons why the airport would lack traffic. All these excuses you are stating won't hold water.

it seems u don't know what air traffic means...it takes special effort for airlines to fly new route....have u wondered why rivers state indigenes leave pH airport for MMIA?

He should also visit umuhu okija road( d road he handed over to obijackson) to see how erosion has taken over the community...he should Tour onitsha and Nnewi to see how the masses are suffering ... Also remind him Onitsha has turned to what it used to be before the coming of bakassi boys then...

But let's look on the optimistic side of life. If he finishes this project, who are those to gain from it?? The last time I checked, even a wealthy state like Lagos borrows to finance projects, which became a beacon of development, were the people not hungry as at when such projects where done??

Let Umahi pursue his long term goals, if Akpabio Akpabio did it, like one dude said earlier, Umahi is gonna be a success in this too.

until we see governance as business, we can't develop as a nation. What's the cost of the project, how long before it would become profitable. It's not about starting a project. It's about the economic value on the people. These people should take advantage of their agricultural land and expertise. Go into large scale agriculture. You not only create immediate employment, you are certain of recovering your investment and taxing the venture which means more money for the government. Good water supply is a luxury in the state. All their stream is salty so imagine the water borne diseases they would be suffering

So this thread is the best you could come up with to compare to Obiano? A thread of uncompleted low budget projects after 4 years? Do you know Obiano completed over 5 bridges worth more than all umahi projects within 3 years?

Abeg go park for one side jare, your a troll. No other governor in Nigeria is performing better than Obiano, take that to the bank. As for erosion, Willie is also tackling it

Sure you are right, but that Ph lacks it, doesn't mean it could be same. I am being optimistic, that things could be different. Besides Oga Aviation minister have stated that Enugu airport is in moribund decay, and ebonyi plans to build hers, is not a bad idea.

I have these same reservations too about the airport, no doubt. But he is doing well in agriculture too, and the water projects are near completion. And is been long, water borne disease scourged ebonyi state. Still dunno why you are living in the past?

international airport in a sparsely populated state where indigenes aren't known for international voyage ? osun ,bayelsa and ebonyi don't need international airports..even Benin and warri whose indigenes are known for international migration don't even have international airports

governors that build bridges,airports and stadiums are just THIEVES

OBASEKi is the only governor in Nigeria that doesn't waste resources on white elephant projects

remind me again the real (not inflated cost) of an airport and why each state in nigeria shouldnt aspire to have one. Apart from the telecommunication and rader tech, an airport is actually basically a bus station. The cost of a basic airport shouldnt be more than $3m.

Does it occur to u that why there are less ppl using air in nigeria is because of inadequate investment in air travel. If there are 37 airports in nigeria and up to 10 local airlines as massive as airpeace, they can force air fairs down to say 15k from lag to abj....tell me why the millions of nigerians making daily travels on deadly, herdsmen-infested high ways wont put a little extra and fly?

Saying an airport is basically a bus station, shows you how clueless you are.

I dare you to find an airport runway that cost $3M.

I have been told that state a couple of times. The water they drink is nothing to write home about. I really love that state. Have beautiful landscape. About agribusiness, this state is far from it. Mechanized agriculture is what I am talking about and not just cultivating few plots of lands
