What kind of diploma? What is your highest level of education before now? Your response will determine if it will be easy for you to get TRV or not.

no need to schedule an appointment, just go there because it wont make any difference, make sure u go with your passport and your biometrics request letter. also be prepared to spend the whole day there. most importantly, be there as early as possible.

Thanks boss

The doctor will just ask questions to find out your medical history and then feel your abdomen and listen to your chest

Hello house, please i really just need advice and opinion and would really appreciate it.
Which would you pick between a masters degree in germany or a post graduate diploma in Canada for someone who wants to settle in either of the two countries.

Going for masters in a course related to public administration will be great, that way you don't need much convincing to do. If your grade isn't good enough to secure masters then go for PGD, but anything less than that will be almost impossible to scale through

If you think you have what it takes to convince the vo why you are going for PGD and not masters in Canada then try Canada, but if you think you won't be able to give convincing reasons why then go with Germany then move to Canada after studies(that's if you still feel like moving to Canada).
NB; The vos expects people going for post graduate programs to go for masters/PhD but that doesn't mean people going for PGDs don't get approval, all you need do is explain why PGD and not masters

APPROVAL ALERT!
Submitted paper application on the 24th of April 2019
Medical request: 13th June 2019
Eligibility review: 17th June 2019
Medicals done at QLife: 4th July 2019
Medicals passed: 15th July 2019
BVL: 26th July 2019
Approval: 29th July 2019

Application profile
Admission into MSc/PhD in Biochemistry and Medical Genetics, University of Manitoba, Fall 2019. I secured a supervisor with full funding (23000 CAD). ( I actually have an MSc in Biochemistry but had to apply for MSc because UofM Biochemistry department does not admit international students to PhD directly: I will be doing one year MSc coursework and move to PhD for the remaining 3 years)
School fees: 12000 CAD

Documents submitted
1. Funding letter from supervisor
2. Printout from department website showing that they do not take students directly for PhD
3. Scholarship letter from UofM (5400 CAD)
4. Academic transcripts (MSc and BSc)
5. CV
6. SOP (3 pages)
7. SOA from my inlaw who has no dependents
8. Affidavit of support from inlaw
9. In law's landed property documents
10. Sponsor's business documents
11. International passport
12. Sponsor's international passport, and passport of dad's sister
13. Parents' and siblings' IDs
14. Academic awards gotten in secondary school and university, leadership certificates
15. Birth certificates (mine and my siblings')
16. Parents' and sponsor's marriage certificates
17. Admission letter
18. WAEC certificate
First, i want to thank God Almighty, my own visa officer!! I very worried that the VO would think that because I applied for MSC rather than PhD, I want to run away, but God did it. I also did not submit my account statement or any landed property, but just explained in my sop that I'm passionate about making a difference upon my return to Nigeria. Even though I showed no proof other than my family, God still did it!
Thanks to all the gurus and friends on this wonderful platform. You guys are all so amazing, God bless you!!
To all those still waiting for results, God will speedily deliver your approvals in Jesus name.
God bless you
Congratulations

Good Morning NL, Please I was denied visiting visa early this year based on purpose of visit, finance and Asset. I applied for admission into university for winter 2020. someone is telling me that I need to sort out the visiting issue first if not it will affect my study visa application. Please how true is this?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by JustMellow: 10:15am On Jul 31, 2019
I was banned for 2 days when providing my contributions to @Dreambig124 querry. The painful part was that it was painstaking typing in length and rather for it to be updated, I got a ban. I don't know what I did wrong or what went wrong, but @justwise this isn't suppose to be so.

Cheers!

I guess what the person meant is that you should tackle the reasons why you were refused the VV before applying for a SP. This can be done by providing relevant documents and writing a convincing LOE to address the concerns. If possible, request for your gcms notes before applying.

Good luck!

Not true. Order for your gcms note now, the gcms notes will tell you the real reasons behind your denial, then with that you can work on that and tender a much better app. Dont mind the person that said you need to get visiting visa first before applying for study.
Search on Google "gcms note" and you will see different links as to how you can order for it and, follow them and you are good(it will take around 30-40 days for you to get it)

I applied July 2 and application is currently on eligibility review and background check, from the way response has been so damn slow from CIC I am considering deferring till next academic calender, cos my school has prompted me to pay up tuition balance.

Dont know if it advisable to go that route though. School is suppose to resume sep 3rd.

This is not a problem. Just go there very early in the morning and get it done.

I've been trying to schedule for biometric appointment on vfs website since last night and my all efforts has been futile. Please what's the new procedure? Can I just show up and do the biometric same day.

Thanks

I've been doing the registration since last night and each time I attempt to log in, I get this response, can anyone help with updated information on how to submit biometrics?

Better to defer. July has already ended and time is now too short for fall hopefuls whose applications are still in progress

pls, who knows the visa office e-mail or how I can ask about my visa application as I feel the visa office is taking too long to respond after a passed medical.

I once saw on this thread somebody sending a mail and after he got his passport and bvl sent. Just can't locate the timeline again.
